How did Chanel refer to Paulina?  Big Momma?  And when did she start speaking like that?

Allie is dating a man?  This writer has a weird fixation on fluidity, but only when it comes to women.

Also, I totally agree with @Antoyne, Chanel and Johnny aren't breaking up because he kissed Joy.  They are splitting because there is no trust left in that relationship.  They've been lying to each other ever since Chanel became radioactive.  They aren't partners, and they jumped into marriage too quickly after being on the rebound.

Chanel was referring to her Grandmother.  Paulina refers to her mother as "big momma" as well.

Allie has been dating a man for a long time.  Pretty much since she left the show.  He's some surfer guy from Australia or New Zealand.  Wherever Will shot his movie.  I guess she's still there.

Chanel should dump Johnny because of this, but she shouldn't quit a job she loves.

That clip gives me a specific kind of rage. There are few things I hate more about modern soaps than the smug self-references. Jamey and Ron both seem so much more interested in smirking at themselves and smirking at soaps (and of course a mention of Soap Twitter - how cutting edge) than providing anything that will give them a legacy.

Agreed, which is why it makes sense for Johnny to quit.  Although, who is running the bakery now that Felicity is off to Canada?

I thought Chanel would go straight to EJ after learning he tried to pay off Joy.  I look forward to that confrontation.

Yes, it's been established that she's called "Big Mama".

And, Allie got a boyfriend pretty quickly after she, and they, got to New Zealand. This also has been established.

I'm confused about Felicity being in Canada.

So, was I the only one shocked at the reveal of the identity of NuLadyBlower. Javi's very sloppy looking boyfriend was certainly not on my Bingo card.

I'm not suprised AT ALL that Johnny & Chanel are being blown up. Thank God, if you ask me,

But, he should quit & she should not.

Wasn't it fun for Stephanie to lecture Chad about it not being a first amendment issue?!!!

And, of course, for Hattie and BonBon to make up, oh no, not a fan of those two & certainly not a fan of their friendship.

Yeah… I can’t believe it took this long for anyone to realize that Rachel was the one sending the texts. It’s not like they don’t already know what a demon she is

But at least Kristen tried to be a good mother today.

I liked the Brady/Tate scenes, even though Amy was a massive pain in the ass again. Seriously, why are they letting this snobby newbie dictate their lives? Hell, if I was Brady, I’d take Sophia to get the abortion myself. But I’m glad that they’re still not writing Tate as the perfect Soap hero. He seemed like a real teen today lol especially when he raged over the fact that Ava ratted him and Sophia out. I actually wouldn’t mind him being the catalyst to cause trouble for Brady and Ava, which could in turn cause trouble for him and Holly. But they chose to do this baby thing instead lol but considering that Tate mentioned once again that he and Sophia used protection, I think we’re getting a twist in this storyline sooner or later.

And yeah, SSH/Julie was breaking my heart again. I like that Doug III was there to comfort her. They seem to work well together. And now that the necklace thing seems to be progressing, I’m curious to see what’s going to happen next. For her and for Holly, now that their relationship seems to be moving forward too.

I still say it’s time for Tate and Doug III to meet though. And start their rivalry

No, Contessa, you weren't, I didn't have a winning Bingo card either. In isolation, I found getting this unexpected reveal refreshing. But looking at the big picture of soaps in recent years, I found it to be a "crumb," where a decent percentage of viewers should be receiving at least somewhat regular "full slices of cake."

    • The bit with the scarf reminds me of the fabled stuffed animal scene with Rick and Phillip. (That wasn't debunked, was it?)
    • Ohh, interesting. I instantly gravitated towards her in that episode. Of course I'm already hooked and want to know why she was trying to poison that older lady, but then how did the older lady know to switch the mugs so Susan drank her own poison...  but I have too many timelines I'm watching right now haha.  Oh, Bolger is definitely hot. I didn't realize he was on GL haha. I knew him from OLTL and other primetime stuff.
    • This is a effin shame. Eff Trump and eff the bastards that enable him.
    • I 100% agree but I think this is due to how the show is structured. It's a one family show which means there are no people in her age range that could be used as friends or contemporaries of her. The show definitely needs a second main family. I am glad someone finally said this. Especially now that the cast is gelling in their roles, he stands out like a sore thumb. No energy, no chemistry with anybody. He is just there.  I thought that was odd as well! The previous scene would've worked better as a tag for the credits.
    • That's the one and only Carrie Nye (Mrs. Dick Cavett) as Susan Piper, a deadly realtor. I don't want to spoil a lot if you ever want to see those episodes. She returns as another character in 2003. I think Grant has aged well and he always did a good job at being ripped without going too far, but he was never entirely my cup of tea either. I did think John Bolger was hot.
    • Totally agree. KKL looks great! It makes the Widge groveling so bizarre. Brooke needs to leave FC and with $B's/Liam's funding launch a rival fashion house with Hope, Rick, Katie and a secret designer. The best scenario is that Rick has been absent because he's been with very much alive C2, who is revealed on the runway as the secret designer. It'll never happen because B&B is comfortable just focusing on FC and the Forresters Marones v. Logans. But it'd been so much more interesting if the Spencers/Logans united.

    • Haha that scarf thing did go on a bit too long, very odd. And what a young Rick!  I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I just never got the physical appeal of Grant Aleksander, but he's definitely a great actor. Who is the older lady around the 8:30 mark, and also ends the episode, alone and in pain? She seems like a really interesting character. I love the smoky voice and sultry, snaky vibe she seems to have.
    • I can't remember exactly but I think she lives in or is part of the cottage story with Carrie. Carrie poisons her in this episode.  I forgot Teresa was on the show. (I see that AI is insisting she wasn't - well they're wrong) Poor Maeve. I can how even she had her limits.
    • It pisses me off that the other Duprees are making this incident all about them as well. They are playing a family of victims, acting as if Ted cheated on all of them. They should be supportive, but not like this. I have a family that makes anything that happens to me personally all about them, and seeing the same thing on TV is rage-inducing.
