On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, daytime legend Susan Lucci will host a 55th anniversary celebratory event honoring the daytime drama series “All My Children,” where for more than 40 years she captivated audiences with her portrayal of Erica Kane, a character who quickly became a cultural icon. Look for Lucci to reflect on the creation and evolution of her character and the lasting impact of “All My Children” on television history.

Titled “Susan Lucci in Conversation with Andy Cohen: All My Children at 55,” the event will take place in person and online at the 92nd Street Y (92NY) in New York City on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. ET. Tickets start at $25 for online viewing while in-person runs between $50 and $70, depending on seating location.

Moderated by Bravo star Andy Cohen (“Watch What Happens Live!,” “The Real Housewives” franchise), fans can look forward to seeing Kelly Ripa (Hayley Vaughan Santos; “Live with Kelly and Mark”), Eva LaRue (Maria Santos), Jill Larson (Opal Cortlandt) and Eden Riegel (Bianca Montgomery), along with the show’s acclaimed casting director Judy Blye Wilson and head writer Lorraine Broderick, as they relive stories front the set, share insight into how the show broke new ground, and celebrate with fans the enduring magic that was Pine Valley.

In addition to cementing Lucci as a pop culture icon, “All My Children” set the standard for dramatic storytelling throughout its more than 10,000 episodes.

Debuting January 5, 1970 on ABC, the show tackled contemporary social issues and created unforgettable moments of love, heartbreak and triumph while helping redefine the soap opera genre for generations.

“All My Children” concluded its ABC run on September 23, 2011 while a short-lived reboot ran from April 2013 to August 2013, produced by The OnLine Network (TOLN), a division of since-defunct Prospect Park Networks (PPN). Susan Lucci did not take part in the reboot.

The ABC version's best-known and respected head writer, Lorraine Broderick, is also scheduled to attend.

She would be the only one in the lineup I'd want to see! She is a creative the medium is truly missing.

I was so interested until I read Andy Cohen and I know how he is doing his hosting lmao Nah.. That’s not how I want my AMC women interviewed like some real housewives lol

Scratch that.

If they were smart, Susan Lucci would moderate. There is zero need for Andy Cohen in this.
