In support of Julie's point to Chad, it just seems ridiculous to put JJ and Gabi's lives in danger in order to retrieve a corpse that he didn't even know was missing until a few months ago.

I mean, what's he going to do with it?  Go to the head gardener at the Dimera Mansion and ask him to re-bury it for him?  Put it in his trunk?  Bring it to the Horton House to put up against the tree?

I assume this will lead to other mysteries about Cat's origin story.  However, the setup is awfully weak.

On the bright side, we've put off looking for the B&S disruptor for another week.

Umm..it's Chad's wife's body.  Would you want your deceased loved one to just be buried anywhere or want Clyde to have her?  He wants Abby properly buried so she can rest in peace and her family and children can visit her grave properly.  I am not religious at all, but it's obviously not some corpse to him and Abby's loved ones.

I'm sorry my tone was disrespectful, but I'm not a corpse/cemetery guy.  I'm more about mourning the loss of the relationship than the physical form.  We are strictly a cremation/bury-the-ashes-at-sea family.  Luckily not because a powerful drug dealer in our town steals dead bodies.  More because I read The American Way of Death by Jessica Mitford, and it changed my outlook on the subject.

Also, sorry if that's TMI.

So, I know that's a weird continuity error, but I can almost let it slide.  When I, myself, get stressed I will clean or move things around to busy myself.  I could see a character just moving a few pictures around for when Julie came back downstairs.  They do have a lot of them in that living room lol.

Thank you!

I think variety shows like the Nurse's Ball are cute and fun, but it's hard to keep getting top tier talent and actual variety.  At this point we are stuck with hot guys taking their clothes off as "talent", which is fine, but not the same as Ricky Martin or Janis Ian singing.  It's just not a sustainable concept year after year.

The first Nurse's Ball was more amatuer and maybe Days could have gone that direction.  Just regular people doing fun skits.

    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!
