May 1, 200620 yr Author Administrator Sens beat the TB! I'm back in Ottawa, so now I'll be able to watch hockey again! woohooo So happy the Oilers won, hopefully they can close the series at home today. Same goes for Calgary.
May 2, 200620 yr Member Holy sh-t! Woohoo!! Go, Edmonton!!! OMG THEY DID IT <3 WAY TO GO OILERS!!! Hopefully, it's Battle of Alberta next.
May 2, 200620 yr Author Administrator GO Edmonton!! The best team in the regular season is out! Now Ottawa has home ice advantage throughout the playoffs. I missed the 10 minutes of the game.
May 2, 200620 yr Member These playoffs are TOTALLY unpredictable. I hope Ottawa will play Montreal but it's looking doubtful. All I know is we need Hasek back if we plan to beat Jersey, otherwise they will destroy us. Emery's good, but against New Jersey with their shots? And up against Brodeur? Can't believe Detroit is out! WOW! I'm SO glad Dallas is out. I'm so glad Canadian teams are making it far, this is awesome! Flames & Sens for the cup!
May 2, 200620 yr Member The Preds lost obviously, but I feel SO much better since Edmonton shocked Hockey Town, way to go Oilers.
May 4, 200620 yr Member Wow, I was just at Rexall yesterday for the Our Lady Peace concert and guess what every opening band and OLP were kind enough to mention: Edmonton's hockey win. It was getting nuts, though...even as we were leaving the building, people were still doing some major hockey cheering. You'd think that we just came out of a hockey game and not a concert. Darn it...that sucks Calgary lost. I was hoping for a Battle of Alberta. I would have obviously been rooting for Edmonton in a game between the two but I would have been just as happy for Calgary to go on. Montreal was also another team I was really rooting for (more so than Ottawa)...how unfortunate.
May 4, 200620 yr Member It's going to be tough beating San Jose but if we can beat Detroit we can take San Jose.

May 6, 200620 yr Member My thoughts on Rd 2 San Jose vs Edmonton: I think Edmonton will take out the Sharks. I'm going to say Edmonton in 6. Colorado vs Anaheim: unlike Calgary; Colorado can score. Colorado in 6. Buffalo vs Ottawa: This should be the most interesting Rd 2 series. High scoring will help Ottawa win in 7. New Jersey vs Carolina: Carolina was the hottest team in the first half and Jersey was the hottest team in the 2nd half. Carolina doesn't have the man power to beat the hot Devils. New Jersey in 5.
May 6, 200620 yr Author Administrator Buffalo scored and tied the game with 11 seconds left just after Ottawa scored with 1 minutes left to take the lead. WTF!!!!!!!!! It was an awsome game, yet a frustrating game to watch. *sigh*
May 6, 200620 yr Member The Ottawa game sounds HORRIBLE. But what a win for Buffalo! Okay, here are my thoughts for Round 2 (joining the game late) San Jose vs Edmonton: Edmonton in 6 Colorado vs Anaheim: Colorado in 5 Buffalo vs Ottawa: Ottawa in 7 New Jersey vs Carolina: I haven't a clue but I'll guess Carolina in 7
