Would not let that happen.

I drank a little bit of the Kool-Aid with Allie and, as stupid as this sounds, I was actually a little disappointed in myself 😂😂

I am no Melissa Reeves fan, and in fact, I find her reprehensible.

Still, Cady McClain is NOT Jennifer Horton. She's just not. Everything about her performance is overdone and overbaked. The truth is, she's awful in the role. That meltdown was out-of-character absurdity.

Oh yeah, I just realized how stupid it is that Kayla examined Abby, and didn't notice that she doesn't have any visible signs of plastic surgery or physical trauma from an accident.

I'm willing to accept a lot, but it seems like Chad's only motive for believing this is Abby is that he needs more help with childcare now that Julie is busy.

And why is everyone treating Jennifer like she's a kook for not buying this story?  She may be a drug abusing, accident-prone, philanderer, but she's always been a smart cookie.

Also, happy 73rd birthday to Mike Horton #9, Wesley Eure.

I hope that they will never ever call Cady McClain again. What a terrible performance.

As far as I am concerned Cady could be on the show 5 days a week, every week. Personally I think she is more Jennifer Rose-ish, the more she is on. Like not playing the part for months is an impediment to the acting. Where the more she does it, the better she is at it. Honestly, I will also say that holds true for Matt Ashford, as well.

🤣 Must be confusing her with "never won an Emmy" Melissa Reeves.

I don't like her as Jennifer, either, but to be fair, the writing for the role is out of character. There's no way the real Jennifer Horton would leave town when the daughter she thought was dead might be back among the living.

Cady McClain in general is the better actress, but Melissa Reeves is the only Jennifer Horton Deveraux for me, always and forever. Hopefully with RC gone, recasts won't be as prominent.

Ron per se has nothing at all to do with why Missy Reeves is not regularly playing Jennifer.

I meant recasts in general, which would have been easy to ascertain if you took a second to do some reading comprehension.

Amusing. And, aren't you in such a special mood? I feel very strongly that today critical reading & thinking have never been more important. I read what you said. I replied. I did not stutter. Now, I genuinely hope you have a nice day.

We can only hope so; under the pen of the "writer" they ran majorly overtime.

Now I have watched the show. I had 0 problem with  Cady but I did really hate the writing! There's no way in heaven or hell that Jennifer would have left & returned to Boston!!! My rose is Jennifer Rose. I think she was realistic. My thorn has to be whoever wrote this mess!

Finished yesterday's episode.

What aired yesterday was not what was in the promo video. I think that is why it was taken down from YouTube.

What we saw was an edited episode from the original promo video. Shame they did it.

Wayyyy too much Body and Soul today. It felt like a Jamey episode too. Y’all really want this on The Gates?

And that’s a big Hell No on whatever may happen between Alex and Chanel. Not only because it’s stupid af, but because they’re missing huge opportunities for actual good storylines, with Johnny/Chanel and them dealing with the miscarriage. And for Alex, him coming to terms with not being Victor’s son and being pitted against Xander. I had a feeling Ron wasn’t gonna put his two straight boy obsessions against each other, but it’s still a huge missed opportunity. Btw, what was the point of Alex and Theresa even getting married if Emily O’Brien was gonna be sent packing almost immediately?

I also found all the meta talk about young, sexy characters on soaps absolutely hilarious because at the same time that’s happening, the lead characters on Days are a 50 year old manchild and a 40 year old fuckboy 🖕🖕
