Well it's not a "renewal" per-say. ABC canceled "The Revolution". They announced that it will go off in June. From June-September a temporary afternoon branch of Good Morning America will air in the 2PM timeslot. When Katie takes over the 3PM timeslot on September 10, GH will move into the 2PM timeslot.

Rumor has it that this plan is set to air at 2PM for at least a year, to see how it goes. That means the show will see it's 50th! :)

There are so many things I love in these comments I don't know where to start.

First of all ms q if that is true you'll be my favorite forever!! Since we r not 12 that's not that exciting for but it's still true.

Next. I read about the save and I am so happy about this maybe the new writters will be using the time to really turn it around. I see the potential. They ate trying to bring back everything that worked about the show in the past... And they are honoring lunacy so far so I'm happy about that.

Last- I read something on soap digest online that they ate producing a documentary about soaps and the changes and they are using it to try to save the genre. It's due in June so I can't wait for that too.

Gotta love this all!! Night all!

I will do my best, khn. :)

Tracy was on for a bit today for Sonny's trial. She was like, "Yes, Sonny threatened to kill my husband in the Quartermaine home, not that I would have minded... But then I thought about Alice having to clean all that up and Monica wanting to throw me out, so I got him to leave." LOL. Obviously, that's not what was said exactly, but that's how I interpreted it. She also seemed like she didn't want to tell the truth about Sonny threatening Anthony on his way out but she was reminded that she was under oath.

I hope she has more screentime in her scenes with Luke tomorrow.

i feel like they'd HAVE to connect this to tomorrow's epi. They can't give her (and I know how rediculous this sounds saying it now) next to now scenes, end the epi with her reaction to something and then not build off of it. otherwise it wasn't worth even having the heather knocks her drink on anna scene. that seemed like it was just building to have some logical reason luke was running his fingers through anna's hair which would make tracy jealous without having it be something that looked like it could potentially lead to something for them- so I say well done, writers!! well maybe it's so so but it's getting there:)

also I LOVED the "not that I would have minded" bit they threw in there for her... it definately leads into the she wants to and/or tries to kill Anthony that we are all waiting on.

ps- still in love with the "you got me a pony for my birthday?" teary eyed scene from the other day. LOOOOOVVVVVVE it.

night all- resting up for a long day of broken computers and physical therapy tomorrow. then a week of dog sitting for my uncle and painting wine glasses for my sisters wedding shower- 86 of them to do this week. woot! don't mind doing it, of course, but it's not really that fun

I expect GREATNES!!!! think good thought and good things will happen. they need all our positive thoughts people, come on!!

as for actual story- not a clue how that convo will go but I am very curious

From spoilers it's Tracy coming clean to Luke about why she married AZ (thought he already had a hint, so we shall see how much is news) and then the two of them agreeing to work together to get her free of that situation.

It's Friday the 13th. Maybe the writers will be kind to us and give us a real conversation.

Next week there is a dated spoiler where Luke runs to stop Tracy from killing AZ. We shall see.

Dont know but LC hasn't worked at all. Surely they could have told whatever story without john for the time being

Just so frustrating

It appears to me that anna has replaced tracy in this heather story as her being the one heather is jealous us

THey are tapng mid may already. Looks like a no tracy sweeps

This use to happen when Tony was gone on vacation...now he is there and it still happens

    • Here's the timeline, as I recall it being published. The WGA strike was 5/2–9/27/2023 Annalynne McCord was announced as being hired in December 2023, for a one-year contract https://deadline.com/2024/06/days-of-our-lives-when-to-expect-annalynne-mccord-peacock-1235975806/ RonC's first scripts back from the strike began airing May 31, 2024 (around Konstantine & Maggie's wedding) https://www.tvinsider.com/1137709/days-of-our-lives-writers-return-15000th-episode-storylines/ Her first air date was June 19th 2024. The actress has said she was not told who she would be playing until she started taping. Side note: DAYS social media team seems to be playing fast and loose with BTS videos, in terms of how far in advance they film content, so we shouldn't assume anyone's current status, versus those who were there nine months ago.
    • April and her husband (Draper) are the "young leads" who tie all the storyline threads together.  They're normally in the center of the action.  In this particular storyline, Draper is the attorney who represents Paige Madison.  (The district attorney, Logan Swift, has given Paige Madison "temporary immunity from prosecution" if she will lead the police to the members of the Tobias Gang who stole the firearms.  But Paige mainly just ducks bullets from various gang members who pop-up to assassinate her.)
    • It's one thing to post about a soap's rumors or gossip, which in point of fact we've all done. It's another to present yourself as the inside source who knows something to be fact that's about to break wide, then backtrack and call it just Twitter speculation. Between those two extreme poles you have to commit to one or the other. If I got something wrong, I'd say it. (Nor would I keep playing insider after what I pulled with Drake Hogestyn, which should've gotten someone permanently banned.) And regardless, you don't open with this 'news' you don't actually want to stand by yet by mocking DRW's extremely valid concerns re: how the Trina character and Tabyana Ali has been marginalized and put out to virtual pasture ever since the day NAC left. Her playing out her current contract in a C-storyline with Kai does not change that.
    • Yeah, I thought it would be more explosive or heated and it was kind of standard.  Both can do more with the material.  I just don't think the writing was there.
    • Daphnée and TMG are on Instagram live (as we speak) and are saying they don’t know why Maurice left.
    • Anita let SilkPress know what time it was!
    • Kat vs. Eva and Anita vs. Leslie were today's highlights.
    • TBF, the majority of Month 2 was them beefing up all the side-stories...mind you Duprees as well as non-Duprees...and it did not seem like people were taking to it as well as they were taking to stories in Month 1. If anything I feel (hope) that May Sweeps is going to shift...while dealing with the aftermath of the Nicole/SilkPress storyline...to the next big story aka Martin's Secret. But that's me hoping that Martin's meltdown over SilkPress jiggles some memories of his out...which I was already hoping would happen. Add on that Bill is involved in both stories now...that might be his way of being sure nothing happens to him now in light of SilkPress's antics.    And...same. I feel they did a better job than expected with Vanessa/Doug with me because I didn't even realize how invested I was until their talk at the hospital and Doug made that subtly blunt comment about their arrangement...making the various online discussions online real. And for me, relevant.
    • Michael Logan is being disingenuous. He knows who's to blame in these situations. Not only does he know how daytime works, but he also wrote about all the BTS shenanigans at the P&G soaps leading up to the Justine story. I will give Victoria Wyndham this: she went all out in the performance. She didn't half ass the performance. Let's also not forget that it was Michael Logan who was publicly calling for the firing of JFP when she on GL but says nothing about that in this interview or in the articles. My guess is that someone at AW didn't like Wyndham and was giving Logan the gossip and he was writing his column with that tea.
    • Basic script work; if it hadn't been for Jane Elliot and Rena Sofer, it could've been for any random character.
