If only you people could remember this more often, it'd make life so much easier!

But seriously.  Drew developing a sexual attraction to the woman who turned him into the authorities (and vice-versa) sounds twisted af, but it's exactly the kind of edgy, heat-generating psychosexual drama that was GH's stock-in-trade in the past, and what the show desperately needs right now.  It doesn't make any sense, but it doesn't need to: Drew and Nina can't stand each other now, but they can't get enough of each other either.  As long as you keep it all kinky and envelope-pushing, and you don't water it down the way Valentin and Anna have been watered down, that's all ye need to make that combo work.

I never saw anyone say who the scab writers were. I tried to find out. No, not possible.

The strike material was not by either Korte or Patrick Mulcahey. Korte was on strike like the rest of the writing team & PM was living presumably comfortably with his husband not involved at all with any soap. If Korte had written during the strike which she would not have done & which the show would not have allowed she'd have had to secretly do so remotely. But that is an unrealistic speculation, nothing more & not really worthy of consideration.

I do know that there was a rumor supposedly from some of the mostly oddball FB groups that indeed Korte & PM were the scab writers & the reason Dan & Chris were fired was because they went out on strike. I'll tell you what I told some good friends on Twitter who believed this utter nonsense that there is absolutely no truth to it. It is bunk. Hooey. Someone's crazy uninformed speculation.

Now, I'm not getting onto you for asking the question. Any serious question is valid.

Dex was really out here risking it all in the Claudia Zacchara Memorial Forest just to not dime out Michael over a personal beef between family. Who cares? Give it up, twunk.

tf is old man Gregory sleeping in Finn's apartment? The fireplace? Violet the kind of kid to roll him into the flames in his sleep, then turn to the camera for a big close-up on her snaggletoothed grin as Frank smiles indulgently in the control room. If the Finn/Chase clan finally gets banished we'll know Frank is really losing his grip, because it's clear this obnoxious child is his latest young Spencer/Sam Manning/Starr/etc. and he finds everything she does to be a delight. "I need to protheth thith." Ugh.

Willow asking Michael if he's told 'the kids' he's staying for good. Plural? You mean not just Pee Pants Wiley but also your miracle baby that is less than a year old? This show makes me so tired.

I didn’t take it like that, my question was serious. I’m just throwing things out there to make sense of the entire mess.  Back when PM was writing the show, I wasn’t into who was writing what or who created who, so all of the writers blend from back then.  But now that I’m grown and the inner workings of how the show was and is made got me questioning.  Thanks for entertaining my question! Back to hiding, I go.

Concerning the statement about Spencer returning in May, I am pursing it to see if there's anything to it. Found out it was actually out of a FB group called "We Love Willow & Michael". It's a private group with 14.5k members. Yes, I typed that correctly. Anyway, I have made a request to join.

Well, since anyone can say anything on the millions of FB groups, I tend to never care about what is put out there. I mean, it's all completely unreliable and I give it no credence. No one should.

I am still waiting for those pre-taped scenes of Spencer to show up. You think May, huh?

BTW, not all Facebook soap groups are alike. I know of several that do not fit the typical reputation. But, no, I am not including this one which is an unknown to me.

This is the IG post that stirred this particular pot.

So, my application to join said group was not approved. Can't say I'm surprised. I had to lie on the application & I know I've made public statements that would not ally myself with lovers of the Willow family. So, I give up on this pursuit & continue to consider this 0 crediblity.

Val owner of The Intruder. Nina Publisher. Alexis Editor. Very soapy. Gonna be a world of trouble.

Joss: He did 2 tours in Afghanistan & came back. So he can't be gone now.

WTHeck?! That makes zero sense.

Trina: I'm afraid to let my feelings come out because I'm afraid I'll fall completely apart & won't be able to put myself back together again.

That is so totally realistic! And, it's also the way to become paralyzed & that way leads to serious depression.

Trina: Without Spencer there is no color. Everything is gray. And, I don't care. But, what is bad is that I don't care that I don't care.

Brilliant writing for Trina! And with art as important to her as it is, lacking color is perfectly in her ballpark.

Wow, Marshall appears to be on the Ozempic plan. He looks absolutely svelt. Stella better get her some of that.

Hey Nina, Phyllis called and wants her gigantic hair bun back. LOL  (Why is there never a mention of Phyllis anymore?)

Carly and Joss must have been directed to switch sides of the room 100 times during their scenes in Dex's apartment. Carly's back is to the door, then Joss circles 'round and her back is to the door. They do-si-do'd all around that room for the entire show. Glad someone on set finally got Joss a tissue for her runny nose.

    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).
