Why Gundaker isn’t the solo EP of this show puzzles me sometimes.

I actually appreciate the fact Mamie is appearing regularly at the moment even on this story I really hope she just sticks around for good.

Jill hasn’t even seen her grandson yet thought it appears

But is there a need for Chance in the corporate world? It be more believable if Chance became out resident high end PI in Genoa City like Paul was before. As @Paul Raven would probably predict all we would end up seeing is Chance hold a Chancellor-Winters board meeting with Jill, Devon, Lily and Nate in Crimson Lights were they praise Chance for being the most successful and innovative newbie CEO ever.

Going back a few posts, Audra is still my favorite Y&R character at the moment.

VB’s Heather is refreshing to have back but yeah without Paul her connections are pretty limited unless the show wanted to have Heather befriend Adam and/or Chance again.

Couple nitpicks, Daniel told Summer that Sally Spectra redecorated his apartment. I know Sally did NOT pick out that ugly green sofa from 1969 LOL. And while the show always has Nate wearing purple, did his leather blazer needed to have a lavender hume to it too?

YR feels like a high school class reunion show. Characters talking and catching up and talking about nothing.

Now that CZ is back.....My Christmas wish list would be Scott Bryce as a recast Paul and Melanie Smith as anyone at this point on the show with Gregg Marx as the new attorney in Genoa City.

Finally watched yesterday's episode and Can't believe I Am Saying this, But Could Claire actually be Eve Nicole Newman Howard, Victoria's Child with Cole that supposedly died a few days after birth back in 1998?

that kinda would Explain her fangirling Victoria the other day! The age is correct too, Hayley is slightly older than Eve would naturally be!

That's My doubt as well! Maybe she is related to Cole somehow? Can't know much with what has been provided so far! I also wonder if it was baby switch then? Did Cole Knew all along? Man if he did he deserves Jail! Victoria has maternity anxiety ever since that! the fact she miscarried at least 2 other babies doesn't help either!

Again, JG has a lot of the ingredients in places for a solid show. Family members like Mamie, Heather, and Danny back. Audra as a vixen JG doesn’t seem to be sacrificing as a short-term psycho. Jack finally getting an age-appropriate love interest and settling down. The Newmans getting something drastic to shake them out of their interminable PG-rated episode of Succession. MTS finally getting something to do. Potentially giving Victoria a grown daughter could be what she’s long needed. And CZ certainly can command the screen opposite EB and MTS (in the same way Alex Donnelley did years ago as Diane).

But we have zero evidence from his past work that he’ll make good on this potential.

Victoria has been pregnant 5 times I think.

Eve died in infancy.

Miscarried Brad's child.

Reed was a who's the daddy storyline. Brad was at one point thought to be the father. AH was pregnant IRL when Victoria was pregnant w/ Reed.

Miscarried Billy's child.

Katie was another who's the daddy storyline. Stitch was at one point thought to be the father.

With all the vodka and alcoholism references, is it possible Claire and Aunt Jordon have something to do with Nikki's past as an alcoholic?  Did Nikki ever kill anyone while driving drunk?  Or hurt anyone in some other way, during her heavy alcohol use?  Perhaps Claire and Aunt Jordan  are connected to Nikki through her addiction.  Who knows??

    • The show has gone back to 10/10 entertainment! I'm glad that I was right in feeling that what were experiencing were growing pains. I'm sure they are not over yet, but I'll know that we always comeback to quality drama. I think it's going to be a hell of ride (in a good way) from this moment on. BTG has that magic that not a lot of shows have. I'll update more... when I'm done catching up.
    • So very glad to hear this. Yesterday I suddenly thought; OMG, what about spoilers, have I just  ruined things for Maxim in getting carried away with interest in Evan, who was so well-written & well-acted. BTW, your fan review of this episode was a sight for eyes that had not seen one of these for a little bit too long, LOL!!!  Mitch is also fascinating to me but in his case it's because he was all in with Janice & her nefarious plan & then he did this turnabout we've mentioned & he basically got off scot-free.
    • It does seem cheap and lazy for this show to have just one family. Passions was heavily criticized but it was nicely structured with a total of four families.
    • I think it was definitely a surprising reveal in the storyline. I had a hard time appreciating Evan because I couldn't get behind his interest in Amanda. But that's because I never thought Sandra Ferguson made her a compelling character (although to give her credit she occasionally had decent emotional scenes with Mac or Rachel).
    • I'll even go further... I'll make her re-think BeLief and create a new patent. Brooke needs stuff to do. Anything other than beg or be in her panties. We need her to be creative. But sadly Bradley has a very low opinion of these characters. To him Brooke is nothing more than sex and scandal... or a pathetic doormat. Ridge is nothing more than a chauvinist pig that needs to pit women against each other to feel like A MAN and Steffy is nothing more than her father's guard-dog. I don't even want to open my mouth about Hope. She is such a fiasco in my opinion... I will not suffer if they kill her off. Bradley pooped on her character and now it's too late to fix it. Annika is great and I would hate to see her go, but slutty Hope was not her thing. The vibe was missing.
    • I've seen Jason interact with Mitch and annoy him. That's as far as I recall. I didn't even have a slight idea that Evan had a vendetta against Rachel... That came as a surprise to me. I thought Evan was Iris's dog and that's it. Now he's definitely more interesting.
    • Thanks for these. I can't recall -- did Evan's vendetta have any position on Mitch, or was it all about Rachel? @Maxim have you seen any Frames intreracting with Mitch in any way?
    • Thank you for the tag! It's always a pleasure to see these little pearls of memories.
    • Uh-oh. Today just might’ve been the first Paula/Jeanne stinker. I have a feeling whose fault that might be though. So, Doug III is getting a job at the Pub?  It’s good to see him interact with other characters. I enjoyed his scenes with Roman, even though the talk of Frankie and Max seemed a little random. And it also could be really interesting now that Tate knows. Days really need to start pushing their rivalry again. We need some follow up from the punch. Tying it all to Holly, to Sophia’s pregnancy, to the guys that Doug III owes money to could be good.  But yeah, wayyy too much Leo again in today’s episode. Seriously, has anything changed with this nothing character? I thought it was all Ron’s fault, but maybe Greg Rikaart is (partially) responsible for Leo being so insufferable.  And yeah seriously, Rafe needs to throw all of these people out of his house. Including Gabi

But I do wonder who’s the mysterious voice that Gabi overheard with EJ on the night he was shot. Based on yesterday’s episode, I have a suspicion.
    • Add me to the group of people who think that Brandon has improved. He has. There's no doubt about it. Especially compared to the beginning. And he's improving in a way that... it makes me think that he realizes what the issues are and is addressing them. Of course, he's no master of acting at this point... but I don't cringe as much as I did. And I've seen people in Bold... I won't even have to name names, because everyone knows who they are... who are becoming even worse than what they were offering in the first place. So... I'm happy that in BTG... people are actually blossoming and improving. It surely means that the atmosphere is creative and nurturing talent.  BUT and it's a big butt... his relationship with his husband is still so lacking and ghastly. I am craving to see more action from these guys. I want to see Smitty's character. If he has any.
