I think Taggert would have be consistently on the show to get written off lol.

I think Real did some of his best work yesterday with the elevator scene reacting to finding out he's not Trina's dad. I'm surprised the show gave his character the time for an extended emotional reaction, didn't we need another scene of someone telling Willow how brave she is?

I don't see this meaning much because Trina likes Curtis and his family and loves her dad? What's the point? Whatever.

Marshall makin' gumbo in the kitchen and Stella wringing her hands with "What if Curtis don't love me no more" is some Stepin Fetchit shît and it's starting to get to me. There has GOT to be a middle ground for black folks on daytime in 2023 that isn't the whitewashed tediousness of the Winters on Y&R and whatever the hell they have Marshall and Stella doing.

And the actor who plays Marshall is really not up to task of making any of his material more than what's on the page. Or maybe I just hate his voice.

This 'Spencer being the only one to care about Cam/Spencer being the bad guy' bullshit makes even less sense then Ron Carlivati's writing. And making Trina an idiot isn't gonna help at all either. 

I also find it hilarious that the traumatized revenge porn victim is now the biggest whore in Port Charles. At this point, she should start charging Dex for her services.

Seriously, WTF are they thinking in the GH writers room?

I don't like Joss' personality any more than anyone else on here but she slept with one dude hours before breaking up with her college bf out of shame over it. She's not exactly Brooke Logan or even Carly, who was the sexual mascot of Jake's in her prime. We can ding the writing that tries to whitewash Joss' behavior without burning her on a pyre as a whore IMO.

I'll admit I have a week-plus to catch up on. It's a struggle getting through days upon days of 1) The Same Black Storyline We Had For the Last Dude (it's true, Shawn had literally the same background story as Curtis for years), 2) Willow the Undying, 3) Carly and Drew's Bestselling Book "(If) We Did It", and finally 4) Esme Doesn’t Want to Pay Rent Because She Had Amnesia.

Joss isn't a whore in any true sense of the word but I truly believe any other character would have been raked over the coals for such behavior.  The show makes it seem like Joss was right because Cameron was boring her?  Not hot enough in the sack?   Joss just skated by on very questionable behavior and that is very annoying.

I just hate this storyline so much. And I really, really hate when awful people keep getting rewarded for their awful behavior. Both in real life and in fiction. It’s not right. Say what you will about Sonny and Carly, but they’ve at least somewhat paid for their awful behavior. Not as much as they should but it was still more than this.

How can anyone treat someone that they claim to care about so terribly? And then just not care at all about that person or what they did to them? Over at Days, I hated it when Ciara did it to Theo and I hated it when Craig did it to Nancy. But Joss is worse than the two of them put together.

It’s like she not even human. I find her to be even worse than Carly. I know Carly has problems being a decent person too, but she would never treat the people that she says she cares about the way that Joss treated Cam and now to a lesser extent, Spencer and Michael. And honestly, I want Joss to suffer worse than any person on GH ever has. 

I have absolutely no idea what the writers, or Frank are thinking with the way this storyline is being written. And do they seriously think that this consolation prize crap of Cam going to play soccer for Stanford (and Trina constantly reminding us of it) makes everything better?

It doesn’t.

Believe me I get your point I was just agreeing with @Vee that she's technically not a whore not that she's a good person lol.  Joss never looks like the bad guy and doesn't have any repercussions for terrible actions.   If any other character did this to someone they claimed to love Joss would be the first in line to vilify them.  Instead Joss is given a pass because the relationship with Cam was struggling, although Cam didn't think so lol.  She's a horrible human being and I can't stand her, but Cam really is better off without her.  I don't think Stanford is a consolation prize, but it's certainly better than him hanging around town mooning after Joss.

      And, to me it is a little bit hilarious that AW fans all over continue to refer to it as Egyptian Dust Recently elsewhere I've been running polls. When did you stop watching AW or What storyline caused you to stop watching AW. You may be interested to know that sticking it out till the bitter end is winning by a landslide. Next highest vote getter is - no surprise - Frankie's murder. So that covers like 60% & next 20%. Then the votes drop way down to 10% and well below but a wide array of reasons are given, including but not limited to  Justine Lumina Rachel having twins at her age, how ridiculous Mac's death the 90 minute show firing JC, George R & Dwyer Hmm, I know there are a few more, in the 1%-3% range but I cannot think of what they are. Sorry, my bad. Should have made notes but I didn't know I would be posting about it. LOL!!

      Yes, I think that is the most likely situation.  TPTB were unhappy with the offer(s) they got from the tourism board in Finland, and decided the trip was going to be too expensive for P&G/NBC to finance alone.   I would also speculate a similar situation likely occurred a few years later with the planned location shoot in Egypt, which was also cancelled after the storyline had already started, and changed to Arizona.

      Finland seemed such an odd choice for a location shoot. ATWT went to Greece and later Spain while GL had Tenerife and there were others in that timeframe. But Finland not being a known tourist destination or offering the tropical/sunny atmosphere usually associated with location shoots seems off brand. Maybe they were negotiating a deal with a tourist association and it fell through.

      I skimmed some of the 1982 synopses; Steve was planning on an opening an office in Finland, and I think Jim went there as part of the preparation. That probably was a big issue; AW had already gone to San Diego that year, with Rachel/Steve/Mitch. And to upstate NY with Pete and Diana. I wonder if upstate was as expensive lol  AW in 1982 has always fascinated me, because of how messy it was
