Name an actor/charachter that had great chemistry with several (more than two) romantic pairings.

Hopefully this isn't a topic already. Basically the opposite to characters that never had a good romantic lead.

GH Steve Burton: Jason had chemistry with Brenda, Karen, Eobin, Keesha, Carly, Sam and Britt.

Y&R Don Diamont: Brad had chemistry with Dru, both Ashelys, Jill, Nikki, Victoria, Cassaundra, Sharon, Diane, and Lauren. Didn't see much of his Olivia storyline.

AMC Susan Lucci: She had great chemistry with Adam, Dimitry and Jackson. Didnt see much if her other relationships.

Days: Kate Roberts. They've thrown dozens of men at LK and she manages to generate chemistry with every single one.

Victor, Stefano, Roman, John, Bill, Jake, Rafe, Andre, EJ, Clyde, Deimos, etc

I'll get the obvious answer out of the way and say Brenda/Vanessa on GH.  She had chemistry with everyone except Ricky Martin.  I even thought her and Dante had chemistry.

I think Jason, Liz, and Robin, and Lucy are all characters/actors who had chemistry with multiple partners as well.

On Days, I would say John and Sami are the best examples for me.  John/RoJohn had chemistry with almost all his leading ladies and it gets forgotten because he's been with Marlena for so long.  AS/Sami has had multiple pairings that were popular.  I have never really liked her with anyone but Lucas, but she's made a lot of pairings work.

GH: I think Laura Wright has chemistry with everyone. And that just comes down to her committing to what's on the page, it has little to do with anything Carly is.

Genie Francis has chemistry with everyone except John Lindstrom.

Maura West has chemistry with this forum. My fingers. The air. She just sells absolutely everything and everyone they throw at her. Hell, she's making me almost like an actor (Roger Howarth) I have never liked in my 25 years knowing of his existence.

But the question was "Name an actor/charachter that had great chemistry with several (more than two) romantic pairings".   On Days I've seen ZT only with Chandler. I haven't seen ZT on other shows, has he had successful pairings there? I'm not criticizing you, I honestly don't follow all the actors so I'm unaware of a lot.

He just listed people he finds attractive. Best to ignore it.

Imagine her going toe to toe with Beverley McKinsey.

I've never seen his AW run, but David Canary made basically all of Adam's (and Stuart's!) pairings work on AMC. I might be forgetting an obvious dud or two, but for 25 solid years, the man was a captivating romantic lead.

Michael Easton! He had so many great pairings and made them work. Only pairings that didn’t work are with Beccy Herbst and Idk why. Normally every pairing of both actors work.

Beccy Herbst is a chemistry machine aswell.

Ron Moss. He was a great 80’s/90’s actor and he made that show work on B&B. I mean he had chemistry with not just one lead but three. Hunter Tylo, KKL and the Caroline actress. Even after a decade he still had chemistry with them and platonic chemistry with Susan Flannery, John McCook.

Haha! I saw that title and first person who came to mind. But they did have chemistry. Her with Dante. lol.

You described Maura perfectly for me. She could just open a book and the chemistry would shoot off.

Maura West is an automatic mention; she has chemistry with everyone, including herself. She just illuminates MAGIC when she's in a scene. Not to mention, she had chemistry with Marcus Coloma, yet Coloma had zero chemistry with her. She just.... works! I'd pay to see her reading a newspaper and the phone book. She just has that charm about her. I mean, she even exuded inappropriate chemistry with William deVry's Julian, and yet made it just WORK! I mean, even in those earlier years, when she'd run her hand across a sofa or a pen, etc she just had chemistry with those objects. She brings everything to life.

    • I'm really liking Izaiah and Eva so far. And why can't I help but feel that something might happen to make Jessica stay in Fairmont Crest permanently?
    • So Pam didn't create her? I thought she had the whole of 87-88. I'll look around, thanks for the point in the right direction.

date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 | Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Samantha, accept the fact you were in the wrong and do not deserve your digital devices. Do not like it? Go upstairs. Read a book. Do some knitting. Bradley and Martin's "we get it" to Tyrell was hilarious and absolutely a parent's thing to do. Loving a bit of history of both the Duprees (via Eva) and the Hawthrones (via Izaiah). So cute. Poor June. I am sure she did not purposefully mean to mess up; we have all been there working in customer service. Shake it off and keep on keeping on! Not twice a week for Vernon's cobbler order... Sharon must be using that as payment for their meetings. I appreciate that Ted still cares about the Duprees despite the end of his marriage to Nicole. Not Dana using Peaches' crisis as a way of taking Ted's attention away from a co-worker. Girl, do not be so obvious. Bradley is a man after my own heart with a simply divine chocolate milkshake. That is the way to go. Dana really needs to dial it back. Money will not buy her everything she wants and she will realise it soon enough. And I doubt Shanice is scared off by her idle threats, either. "With all due respect, Ms Thomas, this isn't a shopping mall." Oh, Dr Wilkes just owned Dana's arrogant ass. I love it. Wigs and personas? Okay now, Shanice ate with that read. I like that June assured Bradley that she will not replace him or Martin in the twins' lives. And that blood does not make a parent. Words never rang more true. Jessica reading Samantha was amazing. Dana would want to involve Ted. Her obsession is crossing beyond dangerous boundaries. Not Dana catching Vernon leaving Sharon's room at the country club. That is not good. Not good at all! Notes: Ugh. Not another breakdown from writer2. This week was going so well. Thankfully, Paige is an outstanding scriptwriter (one of this soap's best), and her words today are excellent. The food at Orphey Gene's does look bomb, so I do not blame any of the characters for uptalking it. I would eat there daily if I could. And gain hundreds of pounds, too. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to make me sick watching him, but he is nice to listen to. I still really like having June as the central person hub at Orphey Gene's. That familiar face you see when you walk in and have scenes. Dana wanting a second opinion means we could have an incoming doctor, right...?

    • I am sure "no one cares" and it's not a big deal to some people, but this thread is full of certain posters calling out women's ages, their viability to have children at like 35, and their nail polish, but we celebrate everything Chandler Massey does and applaud any male shirtless scenes.  And then posters walk back being like it's just a joke and weren't serious lol.
    • I'm so glad she's still on the show. Seems like she may have dropped a hint about the real source of conflict between her and Dee, too.
    • I don't know how reliable the information is, but from what I've read, he joined GH in 1977, and Alan (who started airing in September 1977) was one of his creations. That should have been enough time to get the show in better shape by the January 1978 episode we saw, but then again, shifting from a 30 minute to a 60 minute format is a big transition, one that requires a lot of filler scenes like Monica having a long flashback to a scene that must have only played out a few weeks earlier.
    • I agree. She said, "I do," and then decided, "I don't." I wish Nikki Abbott had been a longer duration. I wholly prefer Nikki with Jack than I ever have with Victor, and today's episode proved that. And I never minded Ashley with Victor.
