Factually, I guess they all signed a blank document, but they were awfully quick to trust a group of ghosts. Also, I wonder if Marlena's age wasn't mentioned in her obit because if it has taken two weeks to advance two days in the Salem universe, perhaps in that timeline she's still in her 30s because they would age slower as well.
