During the week of April 6-10, 2026, CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” was not only the No. 1 soap in Women 18-49 (0.27 rating) for the second consecutive week, but the series also ranked No. 1 among soaps in Women 25-54 (0.40 rating), topping perennial leader “The Young and the Restless” in both demographics. This is the third time this season the drama has topped its lead-in in Women 25-54 (including ties).
For the week, the half-hour drama was up +0.01 week-to-week (0.27 rating vs. 0.26 rating) and +0.02 year-over-year (0.27 rating vs. 0.25 rating) among Women 18-49, marking the 18th time in 29 weeks that the show has ranked No. 1 among soaps (including ties) in the category. The soap opera averaged 2.861 million viewers, up +237,000 compared to the same week last year (2.861 million vs. 2.624 million). Further, versus the comparable week in 2024, the series was up +183,000 viewers (2.861 million vs. 2.678 million), up +0.02 among Women 18-49 (0.27 rating vs. 0.25 rating) and virtually on par with its performance among Women 25-54 (0.40 rating vs. 0.42 rating).
With 3.166 million viewers tuned in, “The Young and the Restless” averaged more than three million viewers for the 11th consecutive week, up +168,000 compared to the same week last year and up +78,000 compared to the same week in 2024 (3.166 million vs. 3.088 million).
ABC's "General Hospital" fell below the two-million-viewer mark for the first time in 11 weeks (since the week of January 19-23, 2026), with 1.944 million viewers tuning in to the happenings in Port Charles. That said, the long-running soap opera saw week-to-week gains in both Women 18-49 (+0.03; 0.18 rating) and Women 25-54 (+0.02; 0.23 rating), and was up +148,000 viewers compared to the same week last year (1.944 million vs. 1.796 million).
“Beyond the Gates” marked its fifth consecutive week of year-over-year gains among Total Viewers (+50,000) with 1.607 million viewers tuning in. The soap opera maintained its week-ago and year-ago 1.1 rating in Households, while demographically, it saw the largest year-over-year drop across daytime broadcast, down 0.06 among Women 18-49 and down 0.10 among Women 25-54.
“GMA3” was the only daytime broadcast series to see week-to-week and year-over-year gains in both Women 18-49 and Women 25-54. For the week, the news program was up +0.02 among Women 18-49 (0.15 rating vs. 0.13 rating) and up +0.04 among Women 25-54 (0.20 rating vs. 0.16 rating). With its 0.20 rating in Women 25-54, the program was up +0.02 week-to-week and year-over-year, and saw a yearly gain of +183,000 viewers compared to the same week last year (1.397 million vs. 1.214 million).
“TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” continues to impress in the key demos, even with its week-ago performance among Women 18-49 (0.26 rating), and virtually on par among Women 25-54 (0.34 rating vs. 0.35 rating). Compared to the year-ago performance of “TODAY with Jenna & Friends,” the retitled fourth hour of the “TODAY” brand was up +0.07 among Women 18-49 (0.26 rating vs. 0.19 rating) and up +0.04 among Women 25-54 (0.34 rating vs. 0.30 rating).
