More than a year since he exited the role of Jason Morgan on “General Hospital,” actor Steve Burton is returning to daytime television in the contract role of Harris Michaels on Peacock’s “Days of our Lives.” He first portrayed the character in 1988 and again in the summer of 2022 during Chapter 2 of “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem.”
According to the soap, Burton will return to the iconic series early next year for a thrilling new storyline and will work alongside veteran cast members,
I feel like it could go either way; either connected to the primetime special (which would be cute to get on Peacock for a limited run) or it'll have zero connection by anything but a name.
I have a hard time imagining JPL with CJ. Their acting styles are so different. I actually think LG and JPL have more chemistry together and could see Phillip/Sarah. I know, I know. That's an awful idea lol.

I'd anchor the show on Mike & Nancy Karr's great-grandson (now a DA), Bill & Martha Marceau's granddaughter (a police detective), Jim & Liz Fields' grandson (a psychiatrist), and Adam & Nicole Drake's great-granddaughter (a PI).
Agreed
Hopefully, Paula/Jeanne have changed that too (if Ron was going there with Alex/Gabi) and continue to explore Gabi/Philip
Gabi doesn’t need to become just another notch on Alex’s bedpost
Correct.
At least they aren't recreating "Night Sins". We'd end up with Alex and Gabi or some odd couple recreating John/Marlena's conference table sex.
