Tee hee. Nah, I just think he's written like this to serve some kind of purpose. Before you know it, he'll be SORASd and turn into a dumb ass too.

I haven't read any spoilers, but I wonder if Steffy will choose the truth or will she want her mommy and daddy to get married and live happily ever after? Will three times be the charm? Only time will tell! Only on CBS Daytime.

I wish they would have something big happen, something that would up things and have characters change you know? I want Enpowered Katie, Smart Donna, Wiser Brooke, Scheming Hope, Taylor and Steffy are Already more Than Satisfactory, Paris Happening, I want Ridge Less Womanizing, Really I feel like he's capable of Getting with Sheila, Eric Wiser and Stronger (Wouldn't Hurt Having Strong A Female Lead Near His Age), Thomas In a StraightJacket, Bill and Wyatt more Relevant, Liam? Well I would rather have him gone but whatever, Finn is Fine, BTW whatever happened with Shauna and Flo?

I HOPE NOT! That Shows Time-line is messed up enough as it is, Have you noticed that Hope is Older Than Steffy who's older than Thomas when it was supposed to be the other way around?

Hahahaha! It's just so DUMB. Thomas using his son's phone to pull out his "crafty" shenanigans, or the social worker who works for the Department of Human Services who needs to get a visit with a metal baseball bat?

Sorry to double-post, BUT ....

This storyline is so dumb, that it's about as equivalent as Thomas using Douglas's phone to download the PornHub app. And to Douglas's discovery, up pops a Stormy Daniels or Brock Cooper video from Thomas's recent porn search history.

I've said before and will repeat it now, the stupidest thing about this storyline is first Thomas used Douglas' phone, next he never did anything but tell Douglas to delete and third he hasn't bothered to even look to make sure it's deleted.  He's simply begging to get caught!!  I really don't know why I continue to watch this mess.  I may stop when Ridge goes back to Brooke AGAIN!!!

The things you have to buy into for this story to make sense:

-This app exists to the public, but is used for a relatively benign domestic issue rather than all kind of crazy fraud and deepfakes of politicians. Once this story is over, this app will never be brought up again.

-Audio of CPS calls can just be pulled up on a phone by any random person who has ever worked with CPS in some capacity.

-Thomas is completely sure that the CPS visit will go well and that his friend will breach his ethics and play the audio in front of Ridge.

-Thomas is sure that Ridge and Brooke will break up without having an adult conversation (that I can buy) and that no one will remember that Douglas has been playing with the voice modication app.

-Thomas wouldn't download the app to his own phone or even a burner phone.

-Thomas would simply ask Douglas to delete the app instead of wiping his phone or buying him a new phone even though the Forresters are millionaires.

I haven't watched for days - since I saw a scene with Brooke saying she didn't understand the breakup...and Donna helping Douglas with his phone, Thomas telling Douglas to delete it, leave it alone.  What viewers should not expect is any resolution.  Not any real one that addresses everything that happened.  The same thing happened before with Beth/Phoebe...and Thomas trying to weasel back into Hope's life.  Nothing was ever revealed about the lengths he went to (down to drawing family stick figure pictures for Douglas, and having Douglas present them as his own)....blah blah blah.

The one thing I noticed a long time ago, was don't expect things to be addressed.  Other examples - Quinn trying to kill Ally?  Tried to shove her off the foot bridge when she said she was going to the police about Wyatt stealing the diamond.  Thomas running Justin's niece down (who was she again??).  The dude that owned the diamond who mysteriously died, with all the clues that it was Quinn about to kill him (or something) but left this valuable jewel to....Quinn....or was it Wyatt?  A LOT on this show goes nowhere.  It reminds me of Days with plot devices that just disappear.  Other cringe moments - Ivy coming up on Steffy and Ally fighting...and ....you know, don't lay on your horn or anything to break it up.  Or, by all means do NOT drive up right to them with your headlights on cause it looks like a fight...and these are your family members so you might want to break it up...? Nah, just VID-YO it.  And then tell everyone about it, especially the TIE-YUH ION.  LOL.

    • I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique.  It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret.  It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas.  It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time.  She can be hit or miss.  I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too.  I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing.  She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.
    • Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show.  I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted.  Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes.  It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out.  I do feel sorry for Eva.    I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down.    Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started.  Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.
    • You've been seeing him all along. You just didn't know it was him, I guess.

    • Where to for Dana? She's pissed off the Duprees (most of the cast), alienated her daughter and will she be welcomed by the Have Nots at the diner? Maybe she can befriend Ashley and Derek and liven up their story.
    • Melissa Ordway announced she was moved to recurring back in November but is still credited with the contract cast members.
    • I think of Evan as a smarmy bast*rd. Maybe you'll like that description. You certainly have him pegged correctly since he is just a soldier following "Admiral" Iris's marching orders.
    • So far the only interest I've seen from Evan to Amanda has been listening to Iris's orders to go and seduce her.  So far he hasn't been successful... but who knows. Amanda is unbearable at times. Entitled, spoiled... idiotic. Iris... so blatantly manipulating her and Amanda takes the bait. But I guess... when she gets in trouble... she'll have a chance to learn. That's what makes these shows so interesting.    Oh, no, don't worry. You haven't ruined a thing. Evan has not been on my radar that much... he was not one of the characters I was caring particularly... so nothing much has been changed for me. I don't think he has the stuff to ruin Rachel's life. He's just a pretty guy that can follow orders. Iris on the other hand... is dangerous.

P.S Maybe Evan will surprise me. Who knows.
    • The show has gone back to 10/10 entertainment! I'm glad that I was right in feeling that what were experiencing were growing pains. I'm sure they are not over yet, but I'll know that we always comeback to quality drama. I think it's going to be a hell of ride (in a good way) from this moment on. BTG has that magic that not a lot of shows have. I'll update more... when I'm done catching up.
    • So very glad to hear this. Yesterday I suddenly thought; OMG, what about spoilers, have I just  ruined things for Maxim in getting carried away with interest in Evan, who was so well-written & well-acted. BTW, your fan review of this episode was a sight for eyes that had not seen one of these for a little bit too long, LOL!!!  Mitch is also fascinating to me but in his case it's because he was all in with Janice & her nefarious plan & then he did this turnabout we've mentioned & he basically got off scot-free.
