I love Diedre/Marlena, too, but she should take a nap. No one's asking for "vile" and "blatant sexuality." She gave herself away when she said "Our audience isn't changing" when she should realize adding viewers isn't a bad thing as 80 year olds die off.

And then she ends her comments by saying that Ron C is always "on the cutting edge"? JFC.

We agree on a lot about DAYS, but I really don't understand why you hate RSW so much. If you don't like his acting, fine, but to pretend he's not good-looking and has an incredible body is kind of ridiculous.

When you go off on someone on social media when they get your name wrong well...I've always thought RSW was full of himself. He's a stuck up male diva!

Lol about your Deidre comment... So true!

I see they cut Rafe and Nicole's table sex from today's episode, but I would assume that that's actually a good thing

Who styles EJ's hair? That combed to the side look is so weird. Xander had the same style when he married Sarah and it didn't look good there either.

I do appreciate that the Chanel/Allie storyline is being taken seriously and not treated like some big joke. They touched on Allie's insecurities pretty well in today's episode and it worked, as opposed to her just being mean and nasty and immature. Having Will there really helped too. And I'm glad that Will isn't being written as a joke either. I love Will/Allie scenes. She's very lucky to have a brother like him. Hope we see him again soon.

As for the threesome, I've said it before and I'll say it again: That was supposed to be for Tripp!!

I think she was in 17 when Missy debuted in 1985, which would make Jennifer 54 now. But with all the aging and de-aging, it's hard to tell.

Whoever he is, he's the luckiest guy in the world

Will said he visited him, but it was all offscreen.

It'll probably be like Beyond Salem Season 1. They'll push the envelope a little, but not too far. (Even though they should lol)

She's a show cheerleader, no matter what. I can't badmouth her for that. Kristian Alfonso was always the same, too.

However, that said above, yeah, I agree with this. A ballsier Dee would be fun. Especially since the show would never oust her at this point.

I stood up & cheered for Chanel/Johnny/Allie & most of all for big brother Will, who deserves to win Best Big Brother, Salem Young Adult Division! Then, my computer threw up all over & refused to go on. I am just now limping back onto the Internet superhighway.

So, Toups told me that he's made me official if I wanna do recaps & I'm finding that I enjoy it so I will continue. It's kinda like if I like the show I like it more & if I dislike the show, well, I'm downright disgusted with it! So, on with the show, DOOL ... tomorrow, something to look forward to or be warned about.

Really? See? I don't pay attention to this stuff. I don'r care. But, it's interesting because it's as if (the board as a whole) are helping me to learn or to become more aware of things, but I'm not going to go diggin' on what someone's  looks like. LOL! Although there was one time when I was watching Californication and I was like, "Michelle Bauer! You better put on your clothes, bitch!"

ETA: Going back to DAYS, I think when I saw Carson Boatman, I strangely thought of Lizard Liz on Twitter.

I'm not buying the Allie/Chanel stuff at all. They were married for 5 MINUTES before they started flirting with other guys and questioning  their relationship. Just not believable.

I guess that's why Chandler Massey grinned and smirked through the entire Will/Allie scenes.

I meant to reply earlier about that. I'm sure my siblings know I'm a whore and a black sheep, but is it common for siblings to share things about their sex lives? I dunno. I wanted to ask.

    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.

    • I started a separate thread for the same tribute, but of course it can be discussed wherever. doesn't matter where. Fyi  Jason Cook, Staci Greason, and Eileen Davidson will be there as well as Reckell and some of the current cast Thread for Live tribute to Drake https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/68987-days-currentformer-actors-live-video-tribute-for-drake-hogestyn
    • Seeing Nicole and Martin together reminds me of watching Alice with Mickey Horton in the 90s and 00s. The seem more like peers than mother and son.  The younger half of the cast (35ish and below) is playing younger, and the older half (35+) is playing older.
