Oh, Heather was nuts from day-damn-one.  Didn't she even forge a letter of recommendation so she could work for Peter and Diana (pre-Jeff/pre-Steven Lars)?  BUT WHY?  WHY was she nuts?  What happened to Heather, or what was it about her circumstances, that made her the way she was from the start?

Alice always said she was no good - even as she loved her and protected her and sacrificed even her own freedom for her - but again, why?  I've researched as much as I could about Heather, but like most characters that were created by the Pollocks (on GH, on THE DOCTORS and on DYNASTY), I still can't get a handle on her.  And if I have to draw my own conclusions and/or make up my own backstory for her - maybe Heather's dad abused her and Alice chose to look the other way or blame Heather for being willful rather than put the no-good s.o.b. out of their house - then something's wrong.

Heather when she left in 1983 because Steve was Ill and Jeff called, was sane. She was Jason's nanny. When Heather returned in 2004 obsessed with Luke and having kidnapped Laura, Elizabeth said she would visit Steve and became further unhinged but never explained why.

RC in 2012 said it was the LSD she accidently took in 1979 but then wouldnt that have been an issue during Mattson's 1980-83 Stint

Regardless

Why is no one wondering if Heather who is  Franco's Bio-Mom is behind this? I have a feeling she is not, but for it not to cross anyone's mind knowing Heather's history is plain lazy.

Also to the BS of Frons blaming Robin Mattson for the response to her 2004 stint

They totally made her a cartoon and what was this Luke Obsession and that her and Luke hooked up in the past.

When

And Steve was around then and they barely had scenes together. Maybe two or three total in six months

Wishing the rumors of Karla Mosley (ex-Amanda Temp, Y&R; ex-Maya, B&B) were true in a way. She's a good actress, and she's 40. The Temp Jordan, Tifany Daniels was ok too.   Hopefully Tanisha gets better in the role or is quickly replaced.

    • I really have no problem with Kai as a character or with the actor. The problem is putting together two very nice people -- Kai and Trina. Neither of them has a bad side, neither of them has a devil on the shoulder, neither of them is impulsive. I think that's a problem in a soap relationship. Yeah, I agree. All this freaking out might make sense if Lulu wanted to do a tabloid expose on BLQ's LOVE CHILD. We have no indication that's the case.
    • So Sonni would have somebody to talk to who she wasn't conspiring with (Will or Alan)? Alex kept telling Sonni how important her friends were...when she had virtually no friends. Instead they created loyal servants like Jane and Vera to give Alex people to play off of. They did that with Iris on AW, but Vivien was mostly there for comic relief Alex keeping Marah's paternity a secret was absurd. But I still love the scene between Alex and Alan where he convinces her by reminding her how they protected each other from their abusive father. Chris and Bev ATE that scene. Unfortunately, that took place only a few months before he exited the show...always thought they could have built on that, explored more how being Brandon's children screwed them both up. Maybe even used it as an explanation for the way their relationship could constantly swing from hatred to love. Instead of it being merely dictated by the plot.
    • The first one is Cass Winthrop dressed as Krystle Lake on Another World (not from his original creation of the character to hide from the loan shark Tony the Tuna, but at a romance convention trying to find out what had happened to Felicia who was missing). The second one is also Another World, Jake McKinnon as Doris although I don't recall what his purpose was.
    • I know there was one brief scene in the summer of 1989 where Lillian did mention Calla.. but in relation to her past relationship to Ross and it was to Roger while he was a patient at Cedars.  I think he was trying to pump her for information on Ross.. and for some reason, Calla's name came up.   I could see perhaps Beth mentioning that her mother Lillian was visiting Calla.. but not exactly giving any sort of details as to the going ons in Calla's life off screen.
    • Mac Scorpio and Kevin Collins, GH

    • They're neither great nor terrible AFAIK, but it is more a question of the streaming numbers in this day and age vs. actual TV airings. The Chibnall era reminded me much more of the crisis years, but I do think it's a very real possibility now as well due to the streaming bubble collapse affecting the show and its prospects.
    • ANYTHING to get her off the screen..she COULD have been interesting if she and Van had a few face offs..(there was a mild one of her going back to work...but I wanted something meatier "Bitch, I am Vanessa Chamberlain and I don't take advice from someone who followed the..career path you did!" I did like Alex's outright disdain for her.
    • Thanks @Vee for the commentary.    I haven’t even watched this season yet after  I couldn’t get past the couple episodes last season…like it was too Disneyified for my taste, although I did think it was a least better than the Chibnall era (but so is a lot of things). I’ll probably go back and binge it now. Hoping this season ends on a high note. I did read the ratings are terrible. As it stands I’m beginning to feel like what long time DW fans felt with S26 in 1989.
    • Yes, they are all on contract. Next.
