They lost creativity or are the soaps the one losing it? i think Peter was an alright character and Wes shouldn’t get so much hate. He delivered most Storys really good. Regardless of all of that, the actor didn't choose to leave. His character arc was done. The GH headwriters gave a detailed article in SOD about the character's demise (which is what the SOD cover was referring to). This is from one year ago: The context was that Tristan was speaking to a fan on Cameo to wish the fan a happy birthday, and responding to the fan's comment about Peter. Notice it starts with Tristan saying "Don't be too hard on Wes." I think Tristan was actually intending to *defend* Wes.
