I agree about Mia. I really liked her actually, and I also thought she gave off young Jill Foster vibes.

I still really like Jess Walton and she can still give off perfect Jill Foster Abbott vibes. Where is she?

They seem to be right in the middle of a story with a company she OWNS.  Jill has been associated with everything Chancellor since the very beginning, and she is not part of the story line. She owns Chancellor Industries and the Chancellor mansion, her son Billy and grandson Phillip Chancellor the 4th are in both in front burner stories, but no Jill.

They would never treat Jack & Victor like this with Jabot and Newman. With women they just substitute a much younger model and go with it like nothing has happened. This show is CRAP!

Jill reappears later this week.  Don't know how long she'll be around this time.  Jess still lives in Oregon.

Like you said, he could be reinvented. It's been so long that he could have any characterization they wanted. But on the current show he'd just be another do-gooder who talks about how amazing everyone and thing is.

Or he'd start a scathing podcast about how much Jack sucks so Jack sends him a cease and desist via Amanda. They would discuss this at Grand Phoenix for 3 solid episodes. It would be resolved with Jack tearfully calling Keemo and saying "I'm sorry". We never see Keemo during any of this.

Saw this regarding casting:

Kelsey Wang has been cast as Allie, who is “described as a mysterious, young professional who catches the eye of one of Genoa City’s eligible bachelors.” She appears starting March 10. Not sure if this is Keemo’s daughter.

"Allie" is Keemo after gender reassignment surgery.

Also...

Yes, I'm kidding.

If that is Keemo's kid it's a step in the right direction. If it isn't it's still a good step, since I was just waxing on about how soaps have fallen down on representation since the halcyon days of poor Mia Korf!

They do still need to bring an eligible male though, and Keemo himself IMO.

I just hope they didn’t kill him off. Soaps need to stop killing folks off screen unnecessarily. Just give a reason to keep him off canvas until they can use him.

I think it's at least 50-60% they killed him off, lol. Shameful.

Lord I just saw Michael. Look, Christian LeBlanc is a very attractive older man but the thick white beard just makes him look like one of the old prospectors on Old West shows in the '60s! He looks like John Huston! There's got to be a happy medium.

It’s just stupid. It takes potential future story off the table. And these shows need all the potential story they can get. And if they just bring on his daughter for now, they could build the suspense of when Keemo himself might show up.

Not if he's gonna wind up like Ji Min.  (Who?  Exactly.)

These shows don’t seem particularly motivated to nurture Asian male sex symbols. Granted that’s an industry-wide failure (the few who seem to really break through are biracial or multiracial like Keanu Reeves, Henry Golding, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, or Christopher Sean on DAYS).

Ugh, what is the point of this Devon/Amanda and Chance/Abby stuff? Are they building up to a partner swap? A foursome? What?

Whatever happened to the young guy that worked for Jabot and had the hots for Ashley?

Ji Min was so hot too! He could have been such a big character!

Ravi Shapur played by Abhi Sinha.  I really liked him.

Exactly, the ones who are more Caucasian presenting.

They placed him in the wrong age group, and never tried to integrate him much, although if they did the "fandom" would scream about him forced down their throats, so there was no winning.

Adrienne Banfield-Jones Lord GIF by Red Table Talk

Soaps have practically been ruining themselves doing this over the past two decades now and it makes no sense.

Also, some on screen deaths were totally unnecessary too.
