I would not be against that idea. Of course they couldn’t get Renée, but Jackée against another powerhouse actress would be enough to get me watching again. Plus, again she’s a DiMera, and she could play a menacing part in the Chanel/Johnny pairing (if that’s still going).

It would also allow for more Lani/Kristen, which I love, being that Lani is Paulina's daughter and Kristen is Lexie's sister. It would complicate things perfectly.

I hate the friendship of Lani and Kristen.  Just hate it.

Well... bringing Lexie into the mix could end it. 😄😆

I think Lani and Kristen would be a hot couple, personally.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this. There is a unique chemistry there that could be expanded on.

Lani and Kristen as a couple would be the only way to make their history and friendship make sense.

Lexie should have been recast. Renee was the Lexie, but it's not like there weren't a million Lexies before her. I'll never forget how contrived it was when she found out Stefano was her father and she turned bad practically overnight, though.

Angela Robinson (Veronica from Haves and Have Nots) would kick ass as a DiMera. But she doesn’t have RJ’s softness.

I always thought Tonya Lee Williams would make a good Lexie.

Would Robin Givens do soaps?

She did a quick role on B&B a few years back. Maybe with Jamey Giddens, the creator of Ambitions writing at DOOL, she could show up there

TLW would be great in theory, and I think she’d do well as a villain if need be. I wonder about how she’d mesh with Jackée in a feud. Someone with strong comedy chops would be a good idea IMO.

I’m not enthusiastic about RG, though lol.

I had that thought about TLW as well, it's what made me think of Robin. She has a good mix of severity and softness. I don't know if I'd love her as Lexie either, though.

I'd have to think on it.

I do not have high hopes that Nicole doesn’t once again get screwed over by EJ in favor of Nicole. I guess it’s kind of okay, since she’s totally not over Rafe. I just would’ve preferred EJ and Nicole to have a real chance.
