Y&R November 2021 Discussion Thread

I can't believe it's been almost a year since the 12000th episode.

NuChance is gorgeous but something is a bit off. Would need to see him in more situations to get a good read on him. (Doubtful, as I’m not watching as frequently as before.)

He reminds me of Cole Howard.

He does have that JEP look. But NuChance doesn’t have that rich masculinity. He’s sorta boyish to me. His mannerisms and his voice.

I really can't believe we're going back to Jack and Phyllis. She's literally cheated on him three times. I know Jack is used to being second choice but man does he look pathetic. 

I like nu-Chance already infinitely more than the previous one, and he's not southern anymore thank god.

Can anyone give me a rundown of actual storylines on this show?

Chance is alive after being presumed dead, Abby found him.

Victor and Adam are taking down Chance Com

Nick and Phyllis randomly broke up and now it looks like Jack and Phyllis are getting back together for some reason.

Ashland and Victoria are a United front as a married couple.

Amanda put her grandfather behind bars for having her dad killed, this mainly took place offscreen in recent months.

 

Thats all I got. It’s riveting I tell you, riveting.

Thanks @Antoyne I don't watch soaps on a regular basis anymore but I see clips and follow along with some of the threads here and with that I can follow along, GH and Days in particular seem to result in a lot of discussion and debate but the comments on Y&R gives me nothing! The few of you left actively discussing the show have nothing to say about it. The most exciting development I've seen mentioned here is the Chance recast no one actually cares about.

Traci is going to write a book about Dina's life in Paris.

Nina is going to write articles for Chance.Com

Faith and Moses go on dates.

Lily had to go to LA to help Mattie.

Gloria is going to run  some division of Fenmores.

Imani and Amanda are going into business together.

Jack has no home or place of business and spends his days at Society, Crimson Lights and Grim Funnel.

There are no other people living in GC.

There seem to be a lot of business talk that amounts to nothing. A lot of talk about companies starting or competing with each other. Can they write anything else?

Peter Bergman mentioned a while back that the Jabot set is/was not being used. 

Mariah just mentioned to another character that she has recently returned to work, but her working there has not been shown.
