We all know the FOJs (John Bolger, Justin Deas, Kale Browne, et al), but what other actors followed producers (and/or writers) from show to show? Like a stock company for a particular EP/HW…

During the first half of the 1980s, Y&R cast several former Days actors that worked with either Bill Bell or H. Wesley Kenney on Days: Margaret Mason, Peter Brown, Suzanne Zenor, Mark Tapscott, Patty Weaver, Tracey Bregman, Susan Seaforth Hayes. Bill Bell would later cast Peter Brown on B&B. Also K.T. Stevens was cast on Y&R in 1976 after previously being on Days during the Bill Bell years.

B&B's original cast had actors Bill Bell worked with on Y&R (John McCook, James Storm, Lauren Koslow) and Days (Susan Flannery).

Tom Langan cast several 1980s Y&R actors on Reilly's Days: Deborah Adair, Eileen Davidson, Nick Benedict, Jaime Lyn Bauer, Lauren Koslow.

Before she returned to AMC, Marcy Walker reunited with her SB boss, JFP, at GL. Apparently, the GL stint was the nadir of MW's daytime career. She may have been half of Eden/Cruz, but I don't think she could really be called FOJ.

More recent Steve Burton to Y&R when JLP was there even though he gave an interview saying he would not.

After AW folded, several of its stars followed EP Chris Goutman to ATWT - Tom Eplin long-term, and Jensen Buchanan, Stephen Schnetzer, Lisa Peluso, Anna Stuart, Ellen Wheeler and Kim Rhodes short-term.

John Wesley Shipp agreed to come back to daytime to ATWT after working with Doug Marland previously on GL.

And didn’t Marland bring Lisa Brown from GL to ATWT as well?

Helen Gallagher (Maeve, RH) turned up during Claire Labine’s OLTL HW stint as Dr. Maud Boylan.

Gerry Gordon of TD followed the show's former headwriters, the Pollocks, to GH. Unfortunately, neither he nor they made much of an impact on GH - just as it was on the cusp of a daytime and cultural renaissance.

I think Maura West and definitely Paul Leyden followed Hogan Sheffer over to Y&R after ATWT ended.

When Gary Tomlin started directing Passions in 2003 that’s when we saw an influx of Sunset Beach alumni come on the show.

Paul Leyden was on Y&R?

He was part of the retcon of Cane's backstory so can't blame you for blocking that out of your memory.
Wish I had!

(although to be fair the fact Cane was Australian made PL a decent casting idea for a horrible role in a horrible story)

Following the cancellation of the other two Corday soaps, Paradise Bay and Morning Star, Heather North, KT Stevens and Edward Mallory all eventually ended up on Days.
