Prolonging Mike's inevitable death. So Mo can get attention for his work is disgusting. Olivia and Robert in an empty casino. The casino set was nice. Even if Miss Rona wasn't an issue. GH would still had a few extra's at the casino. It's nice to see Ethan's pretty face. Olivia looked like she had an orgasm when she saw Ethan. I'm so sick of Alexis and her killer vag. Alexis has never been one of my favorites. She's such a pale imitation. Of Santa Barbara's  Julia. Who was vastly superior to Alexis in ever way. Temp Brook Lynn isn't that bad. The episode was so dry. boring and depressing. I find myself not giving a toss. About any of the characters. Everything is so lackluster and generic. Not feeling sorry because the town's mob lord is losing his father. I do think that Max Gail has done amazing work.

Agreed.  This seems like it was planned for May sweeps (postponed due to pandemic until now) and to give Maurice something to act in.

It didn’t change Sonny or Carly in any real way because the show won’t let them.  It was a good idea for a real life situation that creates emotional stakes and drama.  But it’s over now, and I can’t see it driving future story.  It’s not like Sonny decided to reopen Luke’s and name it Mike’s, so viewers still know there was an impact every time it is mentioned.

Oscar’s death also lead nowhere in my opinion.  Joss was sad for a couple of months.

BJ dying destroyed Tony, and we watched that happen for years.  Stone’s death changed Robin and Mac immensely, and we followed Robin’s life with HIV for years.  Monica’s cancer gave us Emily and also lead to deeper look at her relationship with Alan, and lasted for years.  When Riche was there Guza “killing” Lucky really broke Laura.  What is this going to do a month from now?

Be an A#$ BTS from what I can tell from interviews.

So I caught Robert in Monto Carlo yesterday. And I gotta say Yesss!!! I always loved it when Robert and Olivia team up. LC's fan love is always showing so it's fun watching them.

And that guest spot was nice to see. Hmm.

If it were me, I would have Sonny blame himself for what happened; He would feel that Mike's disease and death was ultimately karma for his life as a mobster and he would revaluate his life and his life in the mob, which would cause Cyrus to make a final play for control of Port Charles.

I'd also have Mike's death be crucial for Dante; I'd have him feel guilty for not being there for his family and would now be determined to get back to them no matter what, leading to a Dante/Lulu/Dustin triangle.

Also, Josslyn would confess her feelings to Cameron and they'd become a couple, but Cameron's growing feelings for Trina cause problems between them. I'd also have Dev be in love with Cam too lol

I know the aftermath of Mike's death will probably just end up like Oscar's, but it would be nice to see something like I suggested.

Thanks!

This show gives zero f*cks about T.J. Soaps go out of their way to make their black male characters as bland as possible.

. At least Nathan Parsons looks better these days.

Yep. I bet he gets it too. Zzzzzzzzzzzz

Yeah, he was an ass. Maybe he's grown up a bit but he still had a bit of an arrogant/egotistical thing when he threw himself out there on twitter for a job on the soaps again. No thanks. Morgan is totally recastable. But I'd prefer he stay gone. But you just know someday Morgan's ass is gonna be alive.

I'm only really enjoying Robert and Olivia. Says a lot, doesn't it. LOL. I didn't even mind seeing Ethan. Parsons looked good.

I hated Courtney but it was nice they used her to take Mike off. It's bizarre it feels nice to see her. lol.

Of course idiots on Twitter turned it into "Morgan must be alive since they used Courtney to take Mike off". Um, Courtney was Mike's daughter. I guess they forgot. Morgan was his grandson but the daughter is a little more important. I swear stans annoy the [!@#$%^&*] outta me. LOL.

I never believed Holly was dead lol. Just like I never believed Taggert was either.

But I'm glad to actually SEE her.

Guessing this is how they 'get' Peter (or not)

    • I am blown away that Christie Clark is 51, and she debuted 39 years ago. They gave her a lovely script today.  But, I could not think of any other examples in culture of someone able to jump right back into the skin of a character, after virtually retiring from acting years ago. I was trying to recall if Carrie left for a bit with Anna after Roman died (because she wasn't at Bo & Hope's wedding), and then returned as a pre-teen Christie?  Or if she was just SORASed off-screen?  But, whenever I see the character I am reminded how much more trauma she's endured than Sami, and yet she remains such a nice person.
    • Weirdly I feel like Nina was the most sus about the entire situation.  Normally I would have given this one to Carly, but Nina was always kind of trying to make it make sense. I think Nina (and Alexis) are actually really smart characters.  They just constantly get in their own way with dumb plans lol.
    • Rewatching some of 1991 I had to appreciate what a strong week March 5-12 1991 was. Cassandra dies, Nina shoots David, Sheila switces the babies, and drunk Nikki all occurring simultaneously. 1991 and 92 were pretty strong overall.
    • Still loving all the Gio fallout, but the scenes that really surprised me this episode were the ones with Nina and Maxie. I was not expecting Nina to be the one to put together all the pieces about Sasha's baby daddy. This custody hearing is about to get explosive!
    • I really hope after the secret comes out their interactions don't stop
    • BAHAHA  I needed that laugh today. Talk about one note.  I would put Derek and Ashley a notch above Dani. Dani's scenes are basically rinse, lather, and repeat for 60 episodes and counting.  It's as if she was transported from the soap opera Passions onto this soap.  MVJ should put aside her friendship/admiration for Karla and look at the fact that this character isn't wroking as written.
    • Agreed.  It doesn't feel in character at all.
    • You could always tell whenever Douglas Marland enjoyed writing for a particular actor, because he'd pull out all the stops for them; and Julianne Moore was no exception.
    • I'm sorry, but I just can't get past the fact that it was Lois, of all people, who deceived so many people.  No matter how hard Rena Sofer tries to justify Lois' actions - and boy, does she work hard! - it just isn't something Lois would've done.
    • Honestly, Olivia had kind of a good reason to keep her son safe from a mobster for two decades.  Sonny literally shot Dante in the chest lol and had multiple family members die, get injured, threatened, kidnapped, etc, etc.   I know you don't watch the show very often, but it's not like Olivia should have shown up and given Sonny and his 18-year-old girlfriend Brenda shared custody of a kid.  That would have been a horrible, life threatening idea.
