Dropping in to say that Polly Holliday's death so soon after Linda Lavin's stings so sharply. The entire original cast of regulars from "Alice" is now gone. I imagine it holds the unfortunate distinction of being the most recent series, outside of Golden Girls, where the whole main ensemble cast has passed away (up until the arrivals of Diane Ladd and later Celia Weston, of course).

I am sorry to hear this news about Robert Redford,  though I am glad he lived a long full life. He was an incredibly talented, and very handsome man. I appreciated his work, going all the way to some of his earlier stuff including that episode of the Twilight Zone he was in. He was definitely one of the best to do it in the industry. May he Rest In Peace.
