FFP2 masks (or surgical masks) are now mandatory in stores and on public transport. Community masks and the likes are no longer allowed. Schools and nurseries stay closed nationwide. Stay-at-home orders remain in 3 states (Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Saxony) and in other hot spots. The daily numbers of new infections have been decreasing, but the death count has remained high.
