I'm a new member here,,I'm just totally devastated by Kristoff's passing. It still doesn't feel real to me. I hated how Y&R did his character Neil through out the years after Victoria left. But I saw this show on online the other day and it may me smile. I've been looking for old episodes of the young and the restless from the time Victoria and Neil hooked up until she left in 2007. They had the best chemistry ever..... Sending my prayers to his family, daughters, his co stars and former co stars especially Victoria.  I don't know if I can watch the show now. Time will tell. Enjoy the show. It's called Love That Girl. It was on TV One. It has sinced been cancelled.

 

 

 

This is probably their last sit down interview together... I will always love the partnership these two had together. RIP Kristoff.

Thanks for the posts, @NeilDru4ever.  I heard about Love That Girl with Tatyana Ali years ago but never got a chance to see the actual show.

 

With this news of Luke Perry's passing, I realized that not only were he and Kristoff St. John the same age, but news of their deaths has spread exactly a month apart.

 

I saw this on Twitter. It looks like it was from an attendee.

Apparently, Kristoff's fiancée couldn't get a visa to attend the memorial.

It is with deep regret and sorrow in my heart that I make this statement. For a year, I was the happiest women on Earth. That changed in a second. I still cannot believe that Kristoff is gone, so early, so unexpectedly, one month after our last meeting in Moscow. In the two years that we were together, he taught me so much – how to love and be loved, how to open the best in other people, how to help people, and simply how to be a good human being. We planned to get married; we had many plans in the future together. With him gone, I have no idea what to do. My thoughts and prayers are, first of all, with his two wonderful daughters whom he loved so much, with every member of his family, with his friends, and with the people that watched him every single day on television. People for whom he played, people who inspired him to work and live. Also, I want to state that I have seen several funds claiming that they were opened by me. As of today, I have not opened and am not planning to open any funds. Everything that you see was/is fake. Right now, I want to be with him, his family, and his friends. I am getting thousands of support texts on my Facebook and Instagram and people are asking why I am not with him and how they can help. Several weeks ago I applied for an “emergency”visa for the funeral to say goodbye my fiancé and beloved💔💔💔. The reply from the Embassy was “No”. My heart is broken. I am going through this with a huge pain in my heart,and realize that I don’t have opportunity to say goodbye to him and put flowers on his grave. It is not right, not fair. 💔🕊Fly, my love, and finally find peace 🙏🏻❤️. Any person in my place would be torn into pieces. That is my tweet with the obituary. The service let out about an hour ago and a lot of actors who worked with him were there (MTS, Victoria Rowell, Shemar Moore, Peter Bergman, Amelia Heinle, etc) as well as some who didn't work with him. Kenny Lattimore sang a couple of gospel songs and there was a slide show with photos of Kristoff through the years. His father spoke and was absolutely devastated. He basically said he never thought he'd outlive his son.

Oh wow @ReddFoxx For some reason, it does my heart glad that someone among us could attend.

I wondered about his father as well since I hadn't really heard anything about how he is managing this loss.

Despite the circumstances, that's cool you were able to attend!  

Thank you ReddFox for sharing that. I'm glad you were able to attend and pay your respects. Poor Mr. St. John, outliving his son and grandson.

 

How sad that his fiancee couldn't get a visa, that's horrible. I had assumed she was living in the US.

 

Since the church was only a couple of miles away from my home I felt compelled to stop in and show respect. It was more of a celebration of his life than a memorial because afterwards they had a small reception where people told stories about Kristoff and Dondre Whitfield was one of the people to talk.
