Kelly Clarkson will be launching her own daytime talk show, a lead-in to ELLEN. 

 

I most certainly did not see this one coming!

Interesting. She’s a great personality, no doubt, and she can integrate music into the show in a way other hosts can’t. (Didn’t work so well for Harry Connick, Jr., though.) It’s replacing Steve Harvey’s show.

It is not clear what will happen to 

Steve, produced by IMG Original Content, which replaced the Endemol Shine North America-produced Steve Harvey starting last fall. It is being distributed by NBCU TV Distribution but I hear the company has been telling stations that it would no longer handle it. IMG could take it elsewhere, and I hear that the company has had preliminary conversations. In the new incarnation under new ownership structure,Steve, which relocated from Chicago to Los Angeles, is pretty expensive, which could make finding a new home challenging but I hear IMG intends to continue with the show.

My thoughts exactly: She's likable and charming enough, could use music well, and I was wondering what it would replace. Really weird about Steve. 

 

Harry was very sweet and I watched often, but his interviews lacked and the musical stuff was... boring.

I'll watch....and I know my mom will too...she loves her....

I was a big fan of Kelly's when she was on Idol, bought her first few CDs. I still like her well enough but as the years have passed she's seemed increasingly desperate and near-breakdown point to me, not helped by the marriage that always rings a bit off to me as well (the rumors going around about said marriage don't help). I don't watch talk shows anymore, and no new talk shows last anyway, but best of luck to her. 

I thought Kelly was doing better these days, but I haven't paid much attn since the early Clive Davis conflict over her second(?) album which I really liked. What's happened since?

Another talk show that's destined to only last 2 seasons, just like Meredith Vieira and Katie Couric. 

 

P.S. Did Bethenny Frankel ever pay Omarosa the 10K they bet on during B's talk show when Omarosa predicted the show wouldn't last more than a year? Haha...

Anyone catch the series premiere? It was pretty much like I expected. I thought KC would take to it easily but she was quite relaxed for her first show. I wonder if her star quality and charm will help keep this around for a while...

My mom who is a big fan of hers hated it.

 

What's up with ugly set? Looks like she is having her show in some junk yard garage back alley....dreadful.

Universal has been repeating it in the early mornings on Bravo and I happened to be half sleep and saw it. 

 

It hasn't found its rhythm yet, but it looked okay. And...JENNIFER GARNER.

I stress this is just a rumour.....somebody probably just made it up for fun......but it's a bit juicy and that's why I'm posting this: her husband wanted to have a threesome so they decided to bring in another woman in.   They tried it a few times but Kelly wasn't feeling it.  Then Kelly found out that her husband was seeing the other woman behind her back. 

 

It's probably not true.  LOL
