It sounds like that case was a shitshow - the phone data deleted, the prosecutor and family unable to keep their stories straight. It's a shame because Spacey is clearly guilty of all that and more.

Was there a settlement and non disclosure clause in the civil case? I can't help but wonder if the witness was paid off.

When I posted this, I knew that there basically was no case to prosecute in MA.

The American case is hopeless but there is still a pending case in the U.K.

Let's all hope that the UK case is the one to put him away for good. His career is over - we all know that. Jail time is the only thing missing.

“It’s a popular show. Michael is loved by our audience,” Kahl said. “Even after these allegations came out, people continued to watch.”

Translation: "Michael Weatherly may not be good for women's safety in the workplace -- but he's damn good for CBS!"

Nathan Fillion's shows seem to always have drama and unpleasantness.

IKR?  Same goes for Glenn Gordon Caron.  He might be a brilliant writer, but he's a lousy show runner.

Alexi Hawley sounds like he'd fit right in at Moonves' CBS - or the current CBS, where they are still making weak excuses for keeping Bull on the air. No, Stana Katic was allegedly never a picnic to work with at Castle, but the sexist double standard with women as well as procedurals - and now Nathan Fillion procedurals - runs much deeper than that. I don't see any involvement in his part here (unlike Castle, where he and Katic were allegedly at each other's throats) but it's still a very bad long-running look for him that he needs to get out in front of if he's wise.

Some digging by the audience suggests that the alleged harasser of Williamson is likely

Michael Beach.

A shame if so, I've liked him in many shows over the years.
