I laugh at Lucy running in those ridiculous high heels around the pool. Charlene's feet probably looks like bird claws after living in them for decades. Mitch was such a dud of a character. The writers clearly had no idea what to do with them after they got married. I likes seeing all the now classic cars in the Ewing drive way. Ah the days before big ass SUV's and oversized pick up trucks.

Charlene, bless her, was so tiny that I'm surprised she was cast in the first place.

And the show seemed to go out of their way to make that obvious instead of shooting scenes in such a way to cover it up.

Maybe even casting someone a little shorter as her love interest.

It makes me think of Joan Crawford who was only 5'3" but came across much taller onscreen due to clever staging.

And yes, Mitch was a dud. Lucy should have married a young businessman with ties to Ewing Oil to keep them in the mix.

I suspect she was initially cast because she was so tiny as it provided a good juxtaposition between Lucy and the "adults" at Southfork. It became a bit obvious once they moved her into "adult" storylines.

Also, that pool scene was straight out of every TV show of the 70's/80's- the camera always panned to a guy doing a fancy dive right on cue. However, they missed out on the boobalicous bikini babes tossing an inflatable beach bool to each other and bouncing in time.
