As I've been revisiting his work it's amazing to me to see how sex positive GM was years before I'd even heard the term. I was too busy thinking he was adorable to really get the messages he was sending. I tell people that George Michael was the second gay man I ever fell in love with. (The first was a boy in high school who didn't come out until years later.)

 

I remember when he got arrested. I got so many phone calls from friends and even my mother asking if I was okay because I loved that guy like he was made of cake.
