Kevin and Laura are boring together. Jean P. can't even make two vets together interesting.

Speak for yourself, I freaking love them! Watching their scenes on youtube and OMG they are GOLD

Snooze worthy!  Like watching white bread and skim milk make out.  Zzzzzz.  Just because they are vets don't mean they are good together onscreen.  Genie just gets duller with time, and altho I loathe Lucy with every fiber, Kevin needs someone with an edge.  He certainly doesn't have one!

Both Kevin and Laura were at their best when Claire Labine wrote for them. Jelly can't write romance. I also don't think that Jelly is truly committed to the pairing. Laura and Kevin randomly just pop in. At this point both Kevin and Laura are shells of their former selves.

Laura is great, it's wonderful to see a character who isn't slutty and bed hopping and Kevin is a wonderful character. I never thought I'd like him with anyone but Lucy

I like both Kevin and Laura. Together they're a boring couple tossed off by disinterested hacks.

Claire Labine was a master at making the most of moments between two people, like none other.  No other soap writer came even close to her in that.  However, Jelly does deserve credit for pairing them up.  Besides saving the character of Anna from destruction by undoing Caaarrrrrllllooos's murder by her, this pairing is the other right thing they have done.

First of all Claire Labine never paired up Laura and Kevin. In fact CL wrote crap for Genie she was a boring housewife. Jean is the first head writer in years to give Genie not only a contract but a leading lady storyline. Laura and Kevin has been a stroke of genius. Jean and Shelly love writing adult romance over 50 and its freaking refreshing to the max.  In fact Wendy Riche on her twitter said she loves Laura and Kevin together. Give Jean and Shelly freaking credit its their idea. Just like the brilliant idea to pair Liz and Franco which to me is like watching an old movie from the 1940s or 1950s in dialogue. Its smarttv people and its been nothing but successful.

Claire gave us Laura as a MOM which Genie wanted to do. Also I loved 90% of her stories and she brought so many great characters: Kevin, Mary Mae, Justus, Mike, Lois, Emily just to name a few

Plus GH truly felt like an ensemble show with Claire as writer & Wendy as EP

Laura was at her smartest and strongest under Labine. Even the worst hacks can have a good ides once in a while. Friz are simply disgusting.

Pairing a violent serial killer with someone especially Elizabeth given what happened to her in the past isn't smart TV, and don't give me any of that "Jason is one too" BS

Friz is nothing but a pyschological complez written storyline. Its just utterly gets in that pysche of yours and never lets go. Its what i call rocketing u into a fifth dimension of smarttv if i ever saw one. The dialogue is just so intense.

A bummy Franco burping at a disgusted looking Liz is not rocketing me to the fifth dimension of smart tv.

I agree.  Alot of the cast had pretty good stories under CL.  The only thing she did that I didn't care for was writing Sean and Tiffany out.  I thought Wendy Riche was an excellent producer, and I'm going to say what some people would consider unthinkable--I think she was a much better producer than Gloria Monty!

Ms. McCoo would like you to please not associate her award winning group in your descriptions of those hacks!   (Fifth Dimension)

Franco also kidnapped Liz's child and gave him to his mother to raise.

There's nothing praise worthy about the Kevin and Laura pairing they're a mismatched bore.

As for Lucy never cared for that insufferable cartoon
