Camera work has definitely improved but now they need to work on the music.

 Congrats to C. Grimes (Mariah) on her prime time job. You guys kept saying that she was so much more talented than HHK.  lol!!!

Plump? What??? If he's gained a few pounds, it looks good on him. I prefer that to what I'd call skinny on Jason Thompson.

Daniel Goddard looks a mess IMO. The show obviously thought so too or they wouldn't have used CK and a shirt to conceal him most of the scenes.

How Daniel Goddard has managed to stay on Y&R for nearly 10 years is beyond me. I can't remember his exact starting month in 2006, I think it was October or November.

Yes, and now he has the exalted veteran status,which to some means he can't be written off or the show would fall to pieces.

For some reason I thought Daniel Goddard started in fall/winter 2006. So he won't reach the 10 year mark until January 2017.

I disagree here. The show will go on without Daniel Goddard. 

Goddard's been barely on at all this year I think his entire ep count is less than 20 episodes for the entire year. Possibly due to his accident but Goddard is dispensable and Lily could easiler be paired with someone else. I'm not sure how Cane and Lily ever developed a small cult following in the first place.

When cane and lily first started they had far more airtime and focus. Cane was P3 and the center of jill and Kay's world. It's easy to get a following when you're top 10 in episode counts. Well, considering Sage/Nick and Dylan with everyone didn't achieve that effect, I take that back. 

I hope this month......

with that said, am I the only one so bored with Y&R lately.....it's no surprise really, but I feel like everything is moving so slowly, and obviously that's the way Y&R was and always suppose to be, but IDK it's not even a "good" slow in this case......

18 days in and it still feels like torture. June was awful and July hasn't been much better. Just glancing at the spoilers for this was a turn off. Adam's story has been utterly ridiculous and excruciating to watch. Sharon is crazy part 18 is horrible to watch. Everyone is being wasted, no energy, and we have Nikki  praising Darth Victor again ugh. Even Billy and Phyllis aren't even fun anymore. Sure we have Jill back but to pair Billy back up with Snoretoria?? Please spare us!

You summed it up perfectly....IDK, Y&R was at least somewhat enjoyable till about the end of May for me, but because of all these certain plot twists, and the stupid worship of Victor returning, it's gone a little downhill.....and if this is mostly Mal's doing, then that is not a good sign.
