It's shocking. Is there no one actually in charge of overseeing this type of thing anymore?

Jesus Christ, someone really needs to make a soap about the goings on behind the scenes of Days of our Lives... it would be better than the actual show!

I wouldn't find it degrading to get paid well for that long-ass stretch. I do find it ridiculous and shocking that DAYS is so consistently, stridently incompetent BTS. Who is minding the store on these things - not just the writing, but the contract cycles?

I meant that they fired him, he knows they want him out (and this is the second firing), and they just screwed it up. I wasn't saying he should quit in protest. I just think it must kind of nick at someone to be in that situation.

Oh, my God.  Could those people BE any more incompetent?

We know Corday's never been involved in these day to day details, so the blame likely lies squarely at Albert Alarr's feet. 

If Beemer's got a good sense of humor, I can see him being very much entertained as he closes out this cycle, lol.
