I'm sorry but they aged these kids too damn early.  For God's sake, Claire looks like she could be Shawn's newest love interest!

I remember vague mentions during JER's run that Laura was still a practicing psychologist. I used to wonder if Marlena bribed the boards to keep her certified so that at least one therapist would be more fucked up than Marlena was.

You know, after everything Marlena has been through at least since 1991, I wouldn't trust her anymore as a competent medical professional.  I loved "Doc" BITD, but now I see her as just another character on this show who has been damaged by years of WTF storytelling and needs to be phased out.

IA. I would have kept JJ young and beefed up the college scene. We dont need a bunch of teenagers in high school

Highschool stories are so played out and people in that age group rarely watch soaps anymore I just really don't see the point of bringing on a bunch of them. Everything they can do with them can be done with the college age set.

didn't the last college set fail? maybe they'll be better than Will/Chad/Mia/T/Gabi/Kinsey

They should have aged Allie instead of Claire. Johnny's off-screen so what would it matter? Allie would have much more of a story due to Will's murder, being Lucas and Sami's daughter, she has had scenes with Ciara ... it would all be there. Oh well. Another missed opportunity. But I still really like the actress playing Claire already, I just think Allie would be a better and more interesting fit.

Who was the last college set? I probably tuned out by then but the highschool set Will/Chad/Mia/T/Gabi/Kinsey was a fail. They ended up recast Gabi and Will and getting rid of Mia and Kinsey

I'm not sure I want to see stories anymore about high school OR college kids.  Instead of SORASing kids and turning characters in their mid-30's into great-grandparents, why not let the offspring age naturally (and offscreen) and introduce new, ADULT characters to fill the void in the meantime?

Since I can't fix the blasted quoting, I'm just going to delete what I had said here originally.  (Which is just as well, since it wasn't very smart to begin with.)

An even better option but then of course soaps think everyone in town must be related so these new people end up being long lost children

I'm glad I was not alone in noticing how crappy Bo's hair looked. A ghost is supposed to look pulled together, not all rumpled up, lol.

Unfortunately days has made another

mistake thinking new faces younger actors will save the show...sadly not this time or ever...all is lost

I was going to make a joke about the effects of defrosting from the morgue. [Bo's hair]

Jokes aside. IMO, Bo is a manifestation and not a ghost. He's created from Hope's feelings of grief, guilt and anger and that's why he's just a little off in many ways: the hair, the clothes, the way he talks to her, the way he looks at her. I do like this concept in its initial stage. If they're going to keep him manifesting around for a while, I would hope they would keep it as short as today and as subtle. Nothing too crazy with the manifestation or with Hope.
