July 17, 201510 yr Member Sam was even in the car with Reva right before she jumped out as Reva drove off the bridge. I'm surprised Sam was never brought on later on being both Ross' niece and Phillip's bio sister but I do remember her vertical wheelchair tale for better or for worse. Didn't she have an off-screen exit? Yes I believe she did. I don't even think they said where she went. I guess the actress didn't make enough of an impression on viewers for them to wanna keep her after her initial 3 year contract expired.
July 17, 201510 yr Member Eventually it was said on screen that Sam was back with Justin. It may have been years later though, the last time I think the character was mentioned was when Tori was causing problems and her cousins were sent to live with her.

I don't remember that, must have been a throwaway line or something. GL had this bad habit actually. They really should own this thread.
July 17, 201510 yr Member GL had this bad habit actually. They really should own this thread. Yup. Besides Sam there's Julie, Mostly anyone in the original Reardon clan (except Nola),Trish,Morgan,Kelly, the Galahad gang,Simon,Jessie,Calla,Meredith,Sonni etc, etc. I'm sure I'm forgetting quite a few as GL has oodles and oodles of examples for this topic. July 17, 201510 yr Member There are a lot of characters that had fairly front burner stories that are never referenced. No one ever talks about Casey the Alien! Or Colton Shore. Has anyone mentioned Miranda since 1997? She drove (while at least was present) in the S/B/J triangle and it was hinted she had some Cassadine connection and then she left to I don't even know where. Jax should probably go find her. At least she didn't already bang Sonny.
July 25, 201510 yr Member Spinelli did mention Miranda roughly six years ago when for some reason he was listing off Jax and Carly's marriages. But other than that she may as well never have existed.
July 26, 201510 yr Member Well I stand corrected. I didn't think anyone mentioned her past 1997. Somehow Spinelli knew about Miranda, but had to google Brenda? Okay........Seriously though Jax should go find her. She was the blandest of bland but I think she tried to emote that she loved Jax and only Jax. Edited July 26, 201510 yr by carolineg
September 3, 201510 yr Author Member Chriselle Strause was frontburner on DAYS for a solid year, wasn't she? Was that a fever dream? What happened to her character?
September 7, 201510 yr Member Twenty million people tuned into Steve and Betsy's wedding on ATWT in 1983 but by decade's end it was who? That always seemed odd to me - the "20 million" viewers tuning in for their wedding. ATWT wasn't even that highly rated during those years.
September 12, 201510 yr Member DAYS: Susan Hunter Martin Peters. Denise Alexander's version only. How funny that you posted this back in June and just this past week, Julie talked about her on the show. Who'd have thought they'd ever mention Susan again? And she was a MAJOR character for the first 10 or so years of DAYS's run, not to mention that 45+ years later, she's still (arguably) Denise Alexander's signature role!

I wish we could see more scenes of her as Susan and Flannery as Laura. i have to say though that Leslie on GH is a pretty well known role too. The Leslie/Rick/Monica/Alan story is credited with helping to save the show and get it to number one.
September 13, 201510 yr Member I think Denise Alexander is one of the first/only cases where soap hopping worked and was successful (in her case, DAYS to GH, we won't talk about her stint on AW).
