June 27, 201510 yr Member Richard Burgi. He's suppose to be Laura's new love interest. I hope Tracy makes them miserable.
June 27, 201510 yr Member I like Burgi, but Hornsby was such a non-character. To me, Satterfield blended in with the furniture. It really doesn't matter, Ron will make as big a mess of this as every character he's brought back/on!
June 27, 201510 yr Member Meh. I'm so over this hiring craze GH has. They need to get rid of, not keep adding. Siiiigh. I like Burgi though. Why does Ron have this apparent desire to have Laura and Tracy dislike each other and be rivals? It's so unappealing to me. They aren't Viki and Dorian. June 27, 201510 yr Member Are they just casting any actor Ron or Frank may have once jacked it to? If he's arriving then having greasy toads like Sloane around feels even more redundant.
June 27, 201510 yr Member Sloane will be his towel snappin' brother...O_O How does one come out of the shower looking greasier than when they went in, anyway???? Edited June 27, 201510 yr by slick jones
June 27, 201510 yr Member Richard Burgi is a fantastic actor and too good for this show. But I pray he's not playing Paul "Driftwood" Hornsby.
June 27, 201510 yr Member One of the most boring characters ever! At least Lord Larry was funny... I can't see Laura fighting with Tracey over a man...I'd rather see her with Lucy at Deception!
June 27, 201510 yr Member Tracy is a miserable shrew and I hope her head explodes if Laura is with this hottie
June 27, 201510 yr Member I remember Richard Burgi from both...I think the show was The Sentinel, in the '90s as well as Days' Kimberly Brady's non-Shane hubby, Phillip, also in the '90s. Hee. Damn, now that I think about it, Kim was a lucky lady. Shane and Phillip? Yeah. Oh yeah, Burgi was also Carl Mayer on Desperate Housewives, too. If he is playing Paul Hornsby, three words. What. A. Waste.

June 27, 201510 yr Member I thought Arianna Chase was playing Kim with Richard Burgi's Phillip? I believe she was, but Patsy Pease's version did also act with him at some point.
June 28, 201510 yr Member I think Richard Burgi actually looks quite a bit like Grayson McCouch. I think I'm going to be confused which one is which a lot of the time.
June 28, 201510 yr Member Tracy is a miserable shrew and I hope her head explodes if Laura is with this hottie It speaks volumes of how irrelevant Laura is to the canvas if her main role is to give Tracy angst. The whole story is garbage. Why do they think viewers care about Laura and Tracy fighting over a man?
June 28, 201510 yr Member Just checked in here out of curiosity as I haven't watched the show in years but I remember the character of Paul Hornsby. I also remember Burgi playing MJ's pimp, Chad Rollo, on AW. Chad's sister, Dawn, was one of the earliest AIDS stories on soaps. Burgi did an episode of "The Haunting Of" recently talking about paranormal experiences he and his family had when he was younger. Pretty interesting. His sister was on it, too. June 28, 201510 yr Member I don't think anyone will be more irrelevant than poor Tracy going forward. I do think Ron's plan for most if not all vets over 50 is high school-level triangles and catfights, and that's what will occupy a lot of both women's times in addition to stories about their families.
