I'm not sure why anyone would be upset, it's just a hilarious and confusing story. She must have really wanted to be black to go to all this trouble, lol.

I mean, it's hilarious but at the same time, she apparently got into Howard posing as black, then passed her adopted brother off as her son(!!) and cut the rest of the family (and other brothers) off. And it looks like she faked these hate crimes.

So why are people worried about it NOW when she's held this position for years

It wasn't known by many until now. It was just talked about privately. She also hasn't had it for years. It's been since October, I think.

A (black) student of hers is claiming she brought in her fake dad to class to ramble about his past. When they couldn't parse his stories for a class assignment, she freaked out on them.

This is sad.

She appears to be something of a compulsive liar. The woman claims to have a Black father and White mother and raised by her mother and White stepfather. Seems like her recent life has been built on a foundation of lies.
