Considering Darla is also back and Ashlyn Pearce has been dropped to recurring, I wonder if they're going to kill Ally off, or at least write her out with an actual exit story.

With all the family drama, it's inexcusable that he's not a part of this story.

I didn't know that AP has been dropped to recurring (which generally means gone on this show). The interest in Aly didn't last very long at all. I really don't want them to kill off Thorne's only child; that would leave him with nothing.

I guess with Zende returning the cast was getting a bit big, despite the fact there are other characters they could have dropped to recurring before Aly, who I feel still has some story potential. It's crazy how sidelined Thorne and his family is when it comes to business storylines. Surely a power struggle at Forrester warrants Thorne's input? Or even Felicia's, seeing as she's part of the international crew. Aly should have told Thorne about Rick treating her like a slave, and he should have come back to sort Rick out and get involved in the take-over.

Sometimes this show really mismanages the potential to use their vast array of characters (past and present).

Seems like Ridge and to an extent Rick are the ONLY Forresters that matter.

Thorne, Felicia, Kristen, Thomas and even Bridget were sidelined
