I love the idea of a new soap. I know the chances of a new soap premiering on network TV are pretty much nil, so any new soap that debuts will be online. PP would have been a success had they started off smaller like this is doing. Hoping this lasts. Also secretly hoping that whoever has the rights to AMC these days can sell them the rights.

I doubt he'll sign on seeing how AMC 2.0 went. I doubt any of the Prospect Park players will sign on.

I disagree. A job is a job. An actor wants to be working. And they are fully aware that NO acting job is secure. That's the way the business works.

Agree if the story is good I bet we could see some PP actors show up there

And since its 40 episodes...the actors will have a little more stability then the PP situation.

If you're an unemployed actor (and some actors can be out of stable work for years), never again can turn into never say never.

I thought of that, and those goofy graphics they did for B&B's 7,000th episode.

Hopefully something substantial will come of this.

Meanwhile, a SoapClassics DVD/Online Site revival would be a lovely dream come true.

Well, my all time soap fave & future wife is their first confirmed cast member, so I'm in. But the description seems really odd/uninteresting, and they're going to change her look and make her seem older -- WTF??

The first thing that came to mind for me were the Busy Town books by Richard Scarry. Remember Lowly Worm?

And yet, I feel like I'm insulting Richard Scarry by saying that. I loved those books (and the TV show) as a kid.
