they dont have the money for that. GH has alot of characters and they've been able to do that bc most are recurring and/or guest stars that they pay as they use them.

Hindsight is always 20/20. When TR signed with Y&R, Jean gave him and JW a major storyline. Now that Pratt is barely using either of them since he took over, it looks like to some people it was a bad move when it wasn't at the time TR first signed with Y&R.

Exactly. With all the screen time that VB and PB (x2) have been getting, there really isn't more 'space' for another male in TR's age group. Hopefully that changes, but the one thing that Pratt has done well (regardless of story) has been to feature several long-time vets very heavily. Others should consider that formula.

The story with Jill never really materialized even before Pratt arrived though. It looked like it was going somewhere and was then wrapped up. But it wasn't really being played out onscreen. And neither Pratt nor JFP seem to want them in story, or they would be.

of all the vets who come back, it is always Holly and Robert who make me the happiest. I love Holly, always have since the day she first appeared in that lake, and since she was on when I started watching GH (she sort of started with me), she says "GH" to me in a way most others don't.

I've always liked Holly and Robert as well. I hope Robert comes back. And I would love it if they would make Ethan a Scorpio too but I won't hold my breath on that.
