Like most of the POC actors who've worked on the ABC soaps in the last decade I'm sure we'll see him thriving post GH. I mean he was already doing outside work anyway.

I actually liked Shawn and I am not surprised by his dismissal. Now that 'Jason' is back, RC has to get rid of the black replacement. He was just there to occupy the void until Jason came back. :rolleyes:

IMO, Shawn was wasted. I hope to see SB land somewhere else. I'd suggest Y&R but I don't even want that to happen with Pratt there.

He needs to leave soaps. Black actors haven't gotten any type of good stories on soaps since the 90's. He won't get sh-t at Y&R.

How I feel too, never should have existed. Maybe these three mob exits are a sign that the mob is truly being purged from this show once and for all. Now all we need is Sonny and Julian to go and I'll be happy!

    Off the top of my head Tika, Melissa, and Lindsey are all doing better away from soaps. They're actually getting the recognition they deserve. Sean has been doing some stuff with TVOne recently so I'm sure he'll be fine post GH.

    I like Sean/Shawn but this doesn't surprise me. I felt he was on borrowed time the second Ron came onboard years ago. I'm shocked it took this long. What are they going to do with Jordan? Dump her too? I'd hate to see her go as well. I'll miss him but he'll be fine away from soaps, as others have said, he's gotten work and will continue to get work. And besides, he was filler for Jason. Jason's back until Billy Miller gives up and moves on again. I just don't think he'll (Miller) do well outside of soaps and Hallmark movies.

    Considering that the main thugs are still around stronger than ever (complete with the ever-noble prize woobie Jason), and the show mostly just decided to fire anyone over a certain age or who isn't white...not really.
