Drama: Lady Marjorie Bellamy (Rachel Gurney) - "Upstairs, Downstairs" Elizabeth Bellamy Kirbridge (Nicola Pagett) - "Upstairs, Downstairs" Hazel Forrest Bellamy (Meg Wynn Owen) - "Upstairs, Downstairs" Kate Rowan (Niamh Cusack) - "Heartbeat" Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham (Maggie Smith) - "Downton Abbey" Comedy: Jessica Tate (Katherine Helmond) - "Soap" Hyacinth Bucket (Patricia Routledge) - "Keeping Up Appearances" Geraldine Granger (Dawn French) - "The Vicar of Dibley" Karen Walker (Megan Mullally) - "Will & Grace" Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik) - "The Big Bang Theory" An all-female list, but I've always liked female characters better than men for some reason.
