Until Tomlin is gone, the show will continue with his vision. He and his team had a pretty great umbrella storyline last year, with the two deaths of Nick and the first round of Kristen and the early Eric/Nicole stories. In all his years first as EP then as HW that was his best year in the show by far! But it has been terrible for most of this year and the constant arrival of new characters and Daniel centric storylines are killing the show.

I would love a creative overhaul, and the major storylines should have one major vet central to each. It doesn't have to revolve around them, but they should be onscreen with something to do.

Also, this show needs some intrigue. It's just deadly dull.

I wasn't speaking about you specifically. Multiple people have suggested story scenarios involving her, meaning they want to keep her around.

Charlotte Ross, yes. No offense either to Kassie DePaiva, but she should've been a different role. I liked her initial banter with Jennifer when she returned, but now it's just awkward.

I'm all for Wayne Northrop returning. But one way or another, we'd still have Josh Taylor onscreen. Corday will never put his golfing buddy out of work.

Then I would return Scotty Banning along with his Dad, david & find out he married Valerie (Debbi Morgan) . Maybe she is related to Maxine or Paige's pal Mary Beth.

I wouldnt drop Paige maybe recast her with Kelley Missal.. Have her flip her [!@#$%^&*] when she learns her mom screwed JJ. Maybe Paige gets together with Rory.

Id make Serena Diana's daughter with John named after her mom

Id make the Kirkias front & center too by returning Phillip & bringing in Alex and have them square off in business. Maybe Alex tries to take over Sonny's club

I would also return Wayne Northup as Roman and do a major police story

Id also make Julie's Grandson Scott the bio Dad of Rory who had an affair with his bio Mom, anne milbauer, who is really Annie Peters, daughter of Julie's foe, Susan. Anne & Scott started dating when Scott was in Med School. Julie found out & paid Annie off but then she found out she was Pregnant. She told Julie who when the baby was born had it switched with a dead baby. Thats why Anne hates the Hortons cause she thinks that if Julie hadnt cut her off from Scott their son would be alive. The truth about Rory comes out when Rory needs Blood for a medical emergency. Julie then gets the cold shoulder from both Scott & Doug for her actions.

The more I think about it & I like Kassie but I would have recast Eve with Cady McClain who is being wasted at Y&R IMHO

Days has many problems but Kassie as Eve most definitely is not one of them and I dont see how Cady in the role would fix anything

Doesnt matter that his business was in China and Paul is Japanese, but the aging is all wrong as any kid he'd have from when he left town would be under 10, not mid 20s. Its a theory that makes no sense and they shouldnt go there. And not that it doesnt happen, but how contrived for Lucas to have two sons that are gay and just so happen to love the same man.That would be a bit much

I think that Jerry VerDorn would be good but I doubt he'd relocate from NYC. Plus, I think for the short stint that he played Bill, I think that John H. Martin should reprise the roll. He was good (IMO) and connected/meshed well with the Horton clan.
