This maybe a stretch... Personally I kinda knew something was off about Bill Cosby. I love both of his shows but I am talking about the person not the doctor and father on "The Cosby Show" and "A Different World". Rape is Rape plain and simple but if he did this I hope he is willing to atone for his actions and pray for forgiveness. But I always had in the back of my mind of why Lisa Bonet suddenly left the show to join another... Was it because of his actions or hers... Now I am just starting rumors and conjecture. But seriously if he did this I will be looking at him differently.

She makes no sense. In fact, she is the only one in the room who makes no sense. Her complete lack of sense is so overwhelming that you obviously don't believe this post you made here. In fact, in previous posts you came to the conclusion he was probably guilty and now you read about this testimony proving your hunch right and you say the one person desperate to defend him with all the certainty and loyalty of Baghdad Bob is the one making sense? Other than posting just to get a reaction from people, what thought process could possibly bring you to that conclusion.

This. It's obviously just a toddler style reaction to Cosby's own words. Just the racist version of "You're not the boss of me!"

He is definitely finished now, there isn't really anyone who will work with him on screen or behind the scenes and the Cosby Show won't be in heavy rotation like it used to be for a very long time, if ever.

IA. Even if an actor were to support him after all this, their handlers (agents, managers and whatnot) would steer him or her away from working on a project with Cos for the sake of their career.

Whoopi Goldberg invokes the Duke lacrosse team. Her standard of guilt now apparently has moved to "he has to be convicted". I saw her the other day on the show; she's coming unhinged over this [!@#$%^&*], emotionally.

Beverly Johnson does Today.

Whoopi Goldberg sounds like an idiot. The audience that applauded her defiant stand against logic are imbeciles. I also don't understand the posts here about how finally now people lost all respect for her. I don't know how anyone had any respect for her. This is the woman who defended Michal Vick--the Adolph Hitler for dogs--and said killing and torturing animals is a black cultural thing. Mel Gibson was another of her causes, and yet now finally people are losing respect for her? Where were you guys when she didn't mind dog slaughtering? She is a professional devil's advocate who thinks by saying this nonsense she sounds reasonable and mature, but she just sounds like a [!@#$%^&*] idiot.

I honestly don't know why this person is on a talk show when she is so stupid she shouldn't even be allowed to talk on TV. Her words damage impressionable minds.

It's because he didn't admit to drugging women without their knowledge, he admitted to getting quaaludes so him and assorted women can get high and screw.

So apparently he's a druggie and a adulterer, just like 80 percent of the rest of the entertainment industry. Big deal. It doesn't surprise me. And I don't think the Michael Vick thing is any different, really.. stray dogs are shot every day in rural america, it's the only way to deal with people dumping strays (Unless you want to keep the thing)

She also made some weird comment about how everyone took 'ludes in the '80s. I wonder if she thinks all these women partied down and can't admit it.

She has a lot of issues and she's a great example of how harmful The View has often been to society.

I used to love Whoopi Goldberg back when she actually did comedy. Her one-woman special on HBO was a bit of comedy genius. But she's never let herself recover from that mess with Ted Danson in blackface and it colors everything for her now. It's sad.

That, and the Weight Watchers firing. She alludes to it in that clip, i.e., "an entire party" (Republican) vilifying her (over the obvious and unoriginal Bush/"bush" joke she made). WW was lame to fire her over that, and the sting of it still seems palpable these years later.

Today I caught the first few minutes of The Talk. They were discussing the raid on Subway Jared's home and Aisha chimed in about us not knowing all of the facts prompting Sharon O. to shout, "You sound like Whoopi!" Sharon can get on my nerves but I rather enjoyed that.

What happened with Weight Watchers? I'll be honest, I haven't paid much attention to Whoopi since her Star Trek days and the only time I ever give The View my attention is when I'm at the mechanic's and the show is playing in the customer waiting area.

Cosby waxed poetic about Spanish Fly on that late night show (forgetting which one, the clip was posted earlier in this thread). He's admitted to buying quaaludes in prep for sex. He's obviously a fan of pills as sexual accoutrement. I don't see why people can't fathom that he might enjoy implementing them consensually or non-consensually given the circumstance.

I worked on a play years ago where drug use was a central element. We had a married couple come in, former addicts who'd done it all, to offer their expertise. They both agreed that if they could still get their hands on 'ludes, they'd probably still be using today. The effects were that powerful, the experience that mind-blowing. One can only imagine what these pills did to the uninitiated who were slipped them in alcohol. Well, actually, one can imagine if we read these many accounts.

I was always a fan - I even watched her sitcom quite a bit. It seems like she's got this idea that she needs to constantly defend the worst of stars she sees as somehow being unfairly accused. This is the fourth or fifth time and I can't have any respect for someone who constantly takes the side of the rich over their victims.

I'm sorry, it was Slim-Fast, but she made ribald "bush" (female genitalia)/Bush (Dubya) puns at a Kerry fundraiser and they canned her.

If Cosby used the drugs to have consensual sex with someone, then he should just come out and say that. He should've said it back then. Everyone knew he was a cheating slut by then so all he had to say was, "Camille and I used to have drug fueled orgies with hookers. Here's the number for a couple of them." Of course, that would make it a little harder for him to wag his finger at everyone for everything. That's part of the problem. Cosby got off on being a voice of morality and right thinking and admitting to being a drug using !@#$%^&*] hound would make that difficult. But that's not the reality. He used drugs to have non-consensual sex with unconscious women because THAT's the part that turns him on: the lack of consent.
