Honey Boo Boo cancelled, Mama June dates child molester

I'm surprised they're not still filming. Television has such a weird ideology, most reality television is the lowest form of humanity being put on screen for entertainment. Yet you have networks canceling shows, deleting scenes and firing people to keep shows on the air and keep the caliber of the station pure. Look no further than ABC firing Columbus Short off Scandal, deleting Stephen Collins scenes, firing Charlie Sheen and now canceling Honey Boo. Yet they still can't wait to film Kim Kardashian after she leaks a sex tape or televise Theresa from Real Housewives going to jail. I mean it's time to make up your mind on what you want and what is "acceptable" behavior. Where's the line and what makes this different?

There's a huge difference between a sex tape (if she even leaked it) and what's going on here.

I don't think the Teresa stuff is appropriate either - I think it's ghoulish - but that's a different situation than this with TLC. No one wants to watch a show where a woman is dating a child molester, one who allegedly molested her own daughter. And if she bought him a car, that was likely out of TLC's pocket. They don't want to be known as funding a pedophile.

I would think the line in this case is extremely clear.

There are lots of mothers out there like this, in order to have a partner, they will accept anything and even let their children be abused. Those children need to be taken out of the home immediately.

June has her first child when she was 14 years old. None of these people stood half a chance in life. It's really hard to watch one generation after the next go through the same stuff. I'm more talking in general then about these particular people. It's an ugly, hopeless cycle.

Shameful that she is a lower life form than he is. It's also sad that someone's self worth is pretty much non existent to reduce themselves to this. Being with a man who violates children - YOUR CHILD? Wow!

Some women refuse to be w/out a man.

I saw that that awful woman is going to be interviewed on E! I haven't watched that channel in years, but knowing they paid this monster to come on their show and spin her talking points (I think the latest is that someone Photoshopped her and her children in photos with him) guarantees that I will never, ever, ever watch them again.

I saw an ET commercial where Anna, the daughter who was molested, was breaking down in the interviewer's arms :(

I saw a recap of it where she basically stonewalled, denied and said "it will all come out." Okay, lady.

I do wonder how much she has made from this, and how fast they'll go through it or have gone through it.

I have a feeling she probably already has, especially if she's out there trying to sell her story.

Were you ready for this to be over? Yes? Too bad! These terrible people were just on Dr. Phil, lying and bumbling about.
