Members BetterForgotten Posted September 21, 2014 Members Share Posted September 21, 2014 I think Passions took itself more seriously in the beginning, but Reilly eventually gave up when he realized the show was never going to be what he wanted it to be, so started selling the show as a parody of soaps and all the cliches involved with that.
