OMG. Nate you took the words right out of my mouth!!!! THANK YOU. Of course I went into so much detail LMAO, but Its PLAYED out!

and I love the soap world, but come on its cartoonish how many times a DEVICE is overused (Not even spaced out over years, just monthly). The escaping from a mental hospital 5000 times, is RIDICULOUS. Real world they would have you on your ass tazed and on some mollied up drugs next to the padded cells.

Me and you do share a love for GH and RC however I'm one to admit its not all perfect and lucy within the sky its too CAMPY! (And I'm ALL for campy, but not sink lower to my fave Passions camp) I need urgency, some realism, some raw dark emotional type of story. Yes GH is fun now-a-days, however shows can be fun and exciting with dark thrilling soapy stories. (Hello 24, Scandal anyone?) Soaps are stories and by the end of the day, a good story will benefit. (Not conversation flown about the latest happening in PC that's why we have time-lapse and a newspaper and cell-phones) but when it gets super-campy, its almost like filler, serves no purpose just dragging story for another couple of months and to stretch it out to 36 minutes.

I'm over the tongue in cheek references to the real world, I think if I ever write a show, I'm keeping IT TO THAT WORLD, b/c Tongue-in cheek references are just a waste of dialogue to me now (its so OVER-USED on GH) I'm not complaining hell I'll even be the first one to say when it was greatly used or made me laugh! but trying to serve purpose or be funny or pay nods to the fan? Maybe when RC first started out but HE PLAYED THAT OUT.

Now I am loving GH, but there are DAYS when I'm not that interested (Cast is too DAMN big, lost some of its weight and take the newbies off my screen. or DEVELOP their characters!) or it gets super campy to the point where it imitates a show called "Soap" or a lite version of my 1st soap Passions! (No one can live up to my Passions!!!) and when people say it was campy in the 80s, hell yes it was, but it had urgency, suspense, blown out dark stories at times, didn't waste time blowing out plots, twists, surprises on Fridays, and tbh newbies were developed much better. And Richard Simmons was......................Well maybe he was sort of the same. Oh and if he disses my Monica again, we gonna have problem, but lets hope he doesn't come back and act like a rip-off from his 80s persona-non-grata.

Also, Milo and Epiphany.......RC if you can show their asses on screen, and actually develop something I won't stop laughing over what a mockery your trying to make of them! It can be somewhat beautiful, a story about personality not looks, HOWEVER........If it develops off-screen well you've proven my point exactly.

And I get everyone has different views, Campy might not be for everyone so GH isn't exactly their show right now. Hell, I didn't even know what campy meant until last year LOL. I've just been rolling along with it through my whole watching expierience, thinking oh its just some light humored scenes were getting.

And probably no one is going to read this b/c its like 5 paragraphs, and everyone is probably going to me like "Can he just shut the !@#$%^&*] up already?" but it feels good to get it out there and ACTUALLY posting for once :)

Like I've said before the only way Heather is viable is if they try to redeem her character. If we find out she's been seeing Kevin as her doctor, trying to really atone for the wrong she's done, she'd be all right. If she found Luke at Miscavaige, got him off the dope he's been fed, and helped him escape, taking a bullet from Fluke.....But all Ron will do is...blah blah blah BLT...blah blah blah Steven Lars...blah blah blah I'll get you Carly. Too bad though, because a scheming Heather trumps OTT Heather any day!
