My God, what does that list leave us with? Black Hair Monthly?

The issue is not with wanting to be CEO but with how she does it. That's what would be OOC. They write it in a way that makes sense, fine.

I hate to knock this before I see it but I doubt it makes sense being that nothing else does.

Remember, this is Jean Passanante (and yes, Shelly Altman), who would shoot a dog before writing from character.

Yes, exactly.

I fear a Kristenfied Ashley just for the sake of it.

That or she'll be "edgy" and cause a splash for three episodes and then fade into her usual patheticness while she drools after a man.

And not just any man, but convicted murderer Stitch, who could have any woman he wants, apparently, just by snapping his fingers (...or someone's neck).

Well, at least the possibility that all of these women are being essential drugged by Ashley's perfume makes Stitch's popularity a little more believable.

Ashley having a breakdown and gaslighting Adam writes itself. They will want him redeemed and I expect it to happen quickly so they can focus on who will be fighting over his sexiness! Ashley is the prime candidate with a history of mental illness and a justifiable grudge. Okay, maybe the gaslighting doesn't write itself..but if this were MAB...

Y'all just gonna love this scan I have of the "Victoria Rowell's 10 Best Tracks from Y&R" cover feature! I ain't lyin'!

Y&R has to stop pairing Ashley with their latest pets.

At this point she needs to be in a mature, steady relationship (like with Ridge on B & B) instead of constantly being the middle aged martyr Y&R's written her as for the past 10 years.

I think Ashley has challenged Jack before and has been CEO or President. Maybe years go, but I still remember something like that happening, especially because Jack was kicked out of Jabbot a couple of times for being underhanded. I think Ashley's feelings on the matter have changed several times over the years. Original recipe Ashley was only interested in the lab, but then original recipe Nikki was never interested in business either.

I remember that as well, there was an article about it in SOD that year that happened.

While SeC can certainly benefit from playing opposite a strong actress for once, thirsty Ashley pushing up on Stitch is a waste of time. He's tainted and overexposed.

No good has come from pairing Stitch with Victoria and yeah, it sort of taints any potential coupling that he could have with Ashley, even though I have a strong feeling that Y&R will go in this direction regardless. They're already setting up Abby to be an adversary with Victoria and I'm sure they'll keep her singing that same ole' tune when Ashley returns but it goes to show that not only did they not need a Stitch/Victoria pairing but it has been a waste of time and goodwill where Stitch's likeability is concerned.

The revelation of this stupid secret could have been used just as much as the Billy & Victoria weren't meant for each other nonsense. They didn't need some awkward Billy/Victoria/Stitch triangle thrown in.
