Yes they do. :P Marlena needs a viable story and who better than her two leading men! It's time these two losers pull their weight once EJ/Sami leave.

But I do agree with your other post that I LOVED Julie verbally dragging Gabi's ass up and down that courthouse. When she called her a "gutter snipe," I died three times. That damn Julie needs to be showcased more.

I don't think you can really hold recurring characters to the same standard as those who are in Salem all the time, lol. Nevertheless, Julie actually did convince Nick to get help. That's the last conversation she had with him. In her mind, Gabi deprived him of that chance. Julie is acting in character. It wouldn't be like her to be okay with Gabi shooting Nick down.

Yes she is. Julie is always a judgmental hypocrite who can give Nick chances but wont do the same for others. Nick can do no wrong & she has blinders on with him.

Hell Nick's parents and Grandma realized from far away that Nick was no innocent and didnt want a trial and accepted Gabi's Plea. Julie needs to take a lesson from their book

Poor Marlena! One cant act and the other cant speak. Screw both men and lets go in a completely different direction by giving her a younger love thing to sex up. How about Marlena and Ben for some fun? And no, Im not kidding

You call out Julie for not caring enough about him bc she's going on cruises, yet she's been around more for him than either of these two. Jessica only came to town once briefly when he got out of prison and I don't think Marie has even seen him. It would appear both wiped their hands clean of him years ago aside from the occasional phone call. Julie was actually around and she always made him feel as he was welcomed and had her love. Her final scene was a big turning point as she was the one that was able to convince him to seek out the help he so desperately needed. If there was anyone in his family that didn't abandon Nick, it was Julie. She's far from perfect but she consistently has been the one family member that has took an interest in him since he got out of jail

I agree that Nick had enough chances. The better story would have been Nick's rehabilitation, but I guess that was either subject to Blake Berris' availability or the writers giving a damn. Having Julie and Hope cry up and down about Nick's potential now, after the writing had made sure that there was no question he was a big loser, just makes them look kinda dumb. Then again, that might also be intentional, as the writers love to get digs in at the Hortons whenever possible.

Old people were getting feisty today!

LOL....Victor was so shady towards Theresa

LOVED Kate reading JorBORE's ass. Who the heck did she thinks he is trying to check Kate? Girl, bye!

And finally Julie not being impressed with Ben was love. LMAO at her "Have I asked for your opinion?" laugh.png

When Gabi said "when Ariana went to prison", I was like that little brat just turned 1...WTF is Gabi talking about? LOL

Kate is Victor's employee? He owns Mad World? I thought she did

Finally we are down to only one Hernandez on the show. Next mission is to get rid of Rafe

And it ticked me off that Julie was like Nick killed a bad guy and yes Trent was scum. However when Gabi learned Will was gonna confess, she confessed. Nick sat on his ass and did nothing to save Caroline when she was a suspect for Killing Trent

Yes Nick was on Drugs then but that excuse doesnt fly here now. What made him do what he pulled with Gabi Abby and Wilson

Again, Julie doesn't know about the blackmail, threats and attempted rape, bc that entire lot covered it up. To her, Nick had done nothing wrong these past few months bc none of them let anyone know. Gabby could have come clean and let Julie know all of that when she confronted her, but she did. She kept quiet because she is protecting other people, but then again its not Julie's fault that she is reacting based on the info she knows.

she knew that Nick almost let Caroline go to jail for killing Trent. But Nick can do no wrong and 20 years is not enough jail time for Gabi? Please. Julie take another LONG cruise, See you at Santa Time.

Thats why I wish we would havve acttually seen Nick in therapy. Maybe getting diagonosed as Bi Polar

    • Well before the craziness starts, I just wanted to say that off of this week's promo...I love that show so far stays playing all the beats. And just when you think they forgot about something or someone mentions a loose end here...it circles back around. I love the attention to those plot details. So far.
    • Sadly, it won't.  If anything, it'll convince the donors and others even further that they were right to push Biden out of the election (never mind that Kamala would've been on standby had he been unable to fulfill his duties as president).
    • Interesting..this is more then likely why I found Reva 2.0 boring and annoying..she had everything she wanted...now what else is there but some outside evil person or clones? It also might have been one of the reasons McTavish had Quint have an affair..it made Nola loose her Prince. But unfortunately they didn't do anything with it but made Nola a sad sack whiner. I wish they had her write a book..of course, some tell all which would make everyone pissed at her, especially Van.   Long was desperate to sideline Van into the Lewis hole. They had Van working at Spaulding again in 85 around the time Alan came back. I would love to have had Henry and Van tired of Alex dragging some nobody blond guy and trying to install him as a Spaulding, and fight to get their part of the company back. They could have used Ross to help them and of course, Billy would be p*ssed off that Van wasn't sitting at home and her old sharpness comes out.
    • I hope this shuts down all the book publicity [clickbait gossip] regarding Biden's mental acuity.
    • I’ve always wondered - why did Wayne decide to leave DAYS in 1984? He and Deidre were at the peak of their success, and their on-screen relationship was so iconic. Three years together just feels too short. Was there a specific reason for his departure at that point?
    • re: Damian's wardrobe: Bringing this over from the May spoiler thread, now that it's already aired:   Lily and Damian, Monday May 5 U.S. (Friday May 2 CDN)  they first encounter one another at CL, and then go to the lounge for drinks.

    • March 27, 2025 - GH Sherilyn Wolter (Celia Quartermaine) visited Emma Samms (Holly Sutton Scorpio).  They are friends in real life.
    • Poor Philip. I appreciate how seriously his and Xander’s scenes were taken though. It felt like real drama and not like a big joke. You could actually feel Xander’s pain and anger. It adds another dynamic to the Kiriakis family storylines and I’m looking forward to the effects that this is going to have across the canvas. I can see them weaving Kate and Roman into this storyline as well. And it would be really nice if this somehow helped cause conflict for Stephanie/Alex too, especially because of what Alex did today. With any luck, Stephanie will be furious about it.  And I’m glad that Sarah has Maggie to confide in about her secret. I also liked seeing Steve and Shawn (and their matching jackets

) continue to be on the case. Kevin, revealing everything to them is another interesting turn in this storyline. Plus, it seems the writing has improved for Shawn as well.
