Members Khan
That's perhaps the one fact about GH that has remained true from Guza to Carlivati.
Members marceline
Honestly, it's ridiculous for soaps to try and do mob related stories because they are no longer willing or able to write the kind of truly dark or evil villains you need to create in order to make the mob menacing. If you aren't going to show them engaged in pimping or dealing drugs or extorting businesses, then what's the point? Now soap villains are all OTT Joker types (the Cesar Romero version not Heath Ledger) and worse yet they are written as unstoppable in stupid ways. They mess with DNA tests, bring people back from the dead and make endless DVDs but they don't so much as smoke a cigarette. The irony is that I think some of these bored, lifeless actors would actually find some spark again if they were given the chance to play.

Members Khan
Didn't someone upload on YT a montage they made of GH's mob-connected characters set to the "Gummy Bears" theme? That's what this statement brought to mind, lol.
Members marceline
Agreed.I purposely avoided bringing up the PP shows but I thought of that too. I know that the story around Cass' sex trafficking bothered a lot of people and I completely understand why but if you're going to write criminals, viewers need to believe that they are capable of real evil and IMO AMC2 did that perfectly. Members AlexElizabeth
Ron Carlivati on this year's NB. I am not making this quote up. "It didn’t have that big emotional hook of … Will Sabrina be transformed?"

Members Cyberologist
Marceline IA I love mob tales but there has to be a fall guy if you're doing them. Real mobsters kill people, extort and all that goes along with it. I almost fell out my chair when they actually said "coke" and showed Luke about to sniff some ... that was a real breakthrough in that Fluke is a real drug dealer. So now Sonny's organization is somewhat redeemed because he abhors drug dealing that played out in The GodFather... I can buy that part of it. What I would write is have some Colombians come in (like Guza did w/the Russians) for the darker side of the storyline that way you can still keep the light weight mobsters on board. I just don't get this writer' never yielding fascination with some characters. Does Franco now have a source of income or is Carly picking up the tab? Members John
So with Shawn, Duke & Sonny running Mob meetings out of Kelly's Kitchen where does the food customers ordered get made?
Members YRBB
Everytime Ron doesn’t know what to do and needs to kill time, he has all his couples having sex. All of them. At the same time. Tracy lost her job/company but all she can think of is getting pipe? From Tony Geary? Ew ew ew at the KaKa/Luke moment: I was literally too stunned to pay attention to the Julian/Alexis scene that followed. Utterly disgusting. I swear I nearly gave up on the show there and then. Why is KaKa going to Michael's office to ask if he’s serious about running the company? They live together, don’t they? This could be something she asked at… home? During bed? Breakfast? The shower? While she milked herself for the day? Jordan finally looks nice! Goooorgeous. Although she feels more like a crush of TJ's than his mom. “Where does Sonny get off cheating on my mom?” For real? Is that all Dante has to say? Sonny the Big Bad Mobster feeding the ducks? LMAO! Why don't you start a wildlife preservation org while you're at it, you big bad wolf? Anna the Giggling Police Commissioner that Runs Around Delivering DNA News. LOL!!! Duke and Anna are carrying out a Super Secret Exchange in front of Kelly's? GAH! The stupidity!!!! Did not expect Michael to ask Tracy if Luke has a history of forcing himself on women. Interesting. Dante’s reaction shot to Lulu's desire to be her own surrogate was everything. What a dumb ho! The only one who came out SOMEWHAT sympathetic was Alexis, for admitting how much of a hypocrite she is. So many bitches today, I don't know which one to choose.... Hmmm I'll go with KaKa. Her acting had a particular scent of shitness, more so than other times. Maybe she was tired from all the wonderful performing she did at the Sh!t Ball 2014. Does Franco now have a source of income or is Carly still picking up the tab? Looked up DNA testing on an embryo because I never heard of it couldn't find anything on the net from what I gather you have to be pregnant at least 10-12 weeks for in vitro KiKi lives with her father she said so in dialog when Morgan came to Micheal' flat distraught after AJ funeral and the crypt sex. I like Jordan too (and Brad); I can't figure it out but suddenly I just started liking him and started watching his story clips from when I wasn't paying attention to him. Members AlexElizabeth
I think she lives with Silazzzzzzzz. We never see them together though so I can't blame anyone who has forgotten that. He got off on Ava, Dante.
Members YRBB
Thanks! I recall so many scenes of her being in Michael's apartment and the show has so little sense of place that it comes off as if she lives there all the time. LOL! He keeps saying that line, to Sonny, to Lulu, and it just makes him sound like such a kid. Definitely really bad wording.
