Lulu obsessing over the baby "validates" the ridiculousness of releasing an international criminal, kidnapper, attempted murderess, etc in exchange for an embryo. If we see Lulu foolishly but passionately obsessing over babies, the audience, as dumb as we are, will believe O's release was an equitable exchange. Well, do you? An affair in this marriage or some sort of trouble is long over due, but why now? We've put Lante thru the ringer the past year, and now an affair? This is just too stupid!
